Abstract: A Bluetooth-enabled infrared (IR) remote control is disclosed, which comprises: a micro control unit, for executing operations of signal processing, decoding and encoding; an signal amplifying circuit, for amplifying a control signal being issued and coded by the micro control unit to be used for controlling a corresponding function of a specific electronic device; an infrared light emitting diode (IRLED), capable of issuing an infrared signal; and a Bluetooth module, capable of communicating with a bluetooth-enabled electronic device by Bluetooth wireless transmission while passing data received from the bluetooth-enabled electronic device to the micro control unit where it is processed.

Abstract: A hands-free cellular telephone base includes a privacy switch unit having a contact switch and a spring-biased switch actuator. The contact switch is mounted in a housing and is operable to control operation of a control circuit unit between a privacy mode and a broadcast mode. The switch actuator is mounted movably on the housing and is movable from a normal position, where the switch actuator does not actuate the contact switch for operation in the privacy mode, and a pressed position, where the switch actuator actuates the contact switch for operation in the broadcast mode. A magnet member is disposed in the housing such that, when an earphone is disposed adjacent to the switch actuator, the magnet member will attract with the earphone, thereby forcing the switch actuator to the pressed position against biasing action of the spring.

The main terminal includes a first casing, a power supplying unit, a voltage regulating circuit, a first connector, an audio output amplifier circuit, and a sound output unit. The secondary terminal includes a second casing, a second connector connected removably to the first connector, a third connector connected removably to the cellular telephone, a hands-free control circuit, a voltage output control circuit, and a gain control circuit. The secondary terminal can be replaced so that the hands-free device can be used with any type of cellular telephone without changing the main terminal.

Abstract: A suction device includes a suction cup and a flexible hanging member attached to the suction cup. The suction cup has a pivot unit projecting integrally therefrom and a periphery located in a plane which is spaced from the pivot unit at a predetermined distance. The hanging member includes a socket unit which receives rotatably the pivot unit therein and which exposes the suction cup to an exterior of the socket unit, and a plurality of pressing claws connected securely to the socket unit. Each of the pressing claws has a planar abutting surface which is substantially parallel to the plane and which is spaced apart from the pivot unit at a distance that is larger than the predetermined distance. The socket unit is generally U-shaped and is provided with a pair of tongues which permit entry of the pivot unit into the socket unit and which prevents removal of the pivot unit therefrom.
