  • Publication number: 20090190348
Abstract: An illuminating device with LED light source includes a circuit board and an elongated arch-sectioned transparent plate. The circuit board has at least two LED lamps arranged in line. The transparent plate is located below the circuit board and is large enough to cover all the LED lamps. The arch-sectioned transparent plate is provided on an outer surface with a plurality of curved ridges, which are parallelly and closely arranged side by side. Lights emitted from the LED lamps and passed through the arch-sectioned transparent plate are condensed by the curved ridges. Therefore, the arch-sectioned transparent plate with the curved ridges forms an area light source. That is, point light sources provided by the LED lamps are converted into an elongated area light source by the curved ridges.

  • Publication number: 20090101922
Abstract: In an LED arrangement, two or more LEDs are particularly positioned for the color lights emitted therefrom to be fully mixed to produce a pure monochromatic light. The LEDs may include at least two identical LEDs, and each of the LEDs includes at least two light emitting chips that separately emit a different color light. The LEDs are positioned in a particular manner, so that the light emitting chips located in different LEDs at the same corresponding positions emit different lights. In this manner, the color lights emitted from the LEDs are fully overlapped and mixed to produce a pure monochromatic light having increased illumination intensity and area.

  • Publication number: 20070165412
Abstract: An LED light holder assembly enabling easy mounting of an LED light on a lighting fixture includes an LED light holder and two elastic terminals serving as two power outputs. The light holder has two curve-profiled terminals fixedly provided at two opposite sides of the light holder. Each of the two elastic terminals is connected at an end to a circuit board, and has an annular free end for press contacting with the curve-profiled terminals. When the light holder is positioned between the two elastic terminals, the curve-profiled terminals on the light holder are in press contact with and electrically connected to the annular free ends of the elastic terminals, such that the LED light holder can be easily mounted to and removed from the circuit board and conveniently turned to regulate the light projecting direction of the LED light mounted thereon.

  • Patent number: 7207696
Abstract: An LED lighting includes a lamp holder defining at least one receiving space having two partitions provided at two ends thereof, and at least one lamp bank including at least one LED each. The lamp bank is received in the receiving space of the lamp holder by extending two conductive metal cylindrical members located in the two partitions into through holes on two metal end plates at two ends of the lamp bank. The metal cylindrical members are electrically connected to positive and negative electrodes of a power supply, and the two metal end plates serve as two power input ends of the lamp bank. The lamp bank is rotatable about the two metal cylindrical members to adjust the LED light projecting direction while the two metal end plates are in contact with and accordingly electrically connected to the metal cylindrical members to keep the LED in an illuminating state.
