  • Publication number: 20080194076
Abstract: The present disclosure provide a method of manufacturing a microelectronic device. The method includes forming a top metal layer on a first substrate, in which the top metal layer has a plurality of interconnect features and a first dummy feature; forming a first dielectric layer over the top metal layer; etching the first dielectric layer in a target region substantially vertically aligned to the plurality of interconnect features and the first dummy feature of the top metal layer; performing a chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process over the first dielectric layer; and thereafter bonding the first substrate to a second substrate.

  • Publication number: 20080072888
Abstract: A bow for a crossbow includes a retainer, two holders, two limbs, two mounting members and two fastening members. The retainer has two inclined surfaces having a receiving recess. Each holder is mounted on one of the inclined surfaces and includes a base, a cover and a semicircular pivot. The semicircular pivot is mounted detachably on the outer end of the base and corresponds to and abuts with the receiving recess of the inclined surface. Each buffer is mounted between one of the limbs and the base of a corresponding holder for absorbing the force applied to the limb and reducing stress concentration to prolong the useful life of the limb.

  • Publication number: 20080060629
Abstract: A trigger assembly has a housing, a trigger, a string holder, a bowstring catch biasing member, a safety pin, a safety lock, a pushing arm, a block, a block biasing member and a string stop. The housing has a mouth. The trigger has a trigger element and an actuating lever combined with the trigger element by dovetailed recess and protrusion. The bowstring catch has a string hook and a leg selectively engaging the hook on the actuating lever. The safety pin is moveably mounted in the housing and is supported on the actuating lever. The safety lock is moveably mounted in the housing and has a push rod. The pushing arm has a protrusion abutting the push rod. The block has a transverse rod selectively engaging the front end of the pushing arm. Accordingly, a trigger assembly with two safety features is provided.

  • Patent number: 7188615
Abstract: An adjustable cam for a crossbow has a main disk, a weight-adjusting block and a length-adjusting block. The main disk has two sides, a group of string hooks, a group of weight-selecting holes, and a group of length-selecting holes. The group of string hooks is formed on one side of the main disk. The group of weight-selecting holes and the group of length-selecting holes are defined through the main disk in different areas. The weight-adjusting and the length-adjusting blocks are pivotally and coaxially mounted on the other side of the main disk. Each block has a securing hole to engage the one hole in a corresponding group. By attaching a bowstring to different string hooks and engaging the blocks to the corresponding hole in the groups, tension degrees and draw lengths are adjustable in various modifications to make the crossbow have versatile options to satisfy different users.

  • Patent number: 7178514
Abstract: A crossbow with a vibration-damping device has a stock assembly, a bow assembly, a bushing and at least one resilient element. The stock assembly has a front end. The bow assembly is attached to the front end of the stock assembly. The bushing is clamped between the stock assembly and the bow assembly. The at least one resilient element serves as a vibration-damping device and is clamped between the bushing and the bow assembly. By adding the resilient element, vibrations of the bow assembly are greatly reduced, and the bushing can be selectively made of rigid material to keep the structure of the crossbow sturdy.

  • Patent number: 7100590
Abstract: A bowstring drawing device for a crossbow has a mounting base, a reeling device and a hook. The mounting base has a rail. The reeling device has a casing with a bottom face and a rail recess defined in the bottom face of the casing to slidably engage with the rail of the mounting base. A wheel assembly is accommodated inside the casing and a crank arm connected to drive the wheel assembly. A clutch is operationally connected to the wheel assembly. The hook is retractably connected to the reeling device by a string. Because the reeling device and the mounting base are engaged with the rail and rail recess, detachment or engagement of the reeling device is convenient. Moreover, the crank arm and the wheel assembly also make the operation of the bowstring drawing device effort-saving.
