  • Publication number: 20140219838
Abstract: A piezoelectric cooling fan comprises a support frame and two piezoelectric actuators. Each piezoelectric actuator includes an electrical-conductive plate and a piezoelectric plate attached to the electrical-conductive plate, wherein an edge portion of the electrical-conductive plate is fixedly attached to a base of the support frame and approximately aligned with an edge portion of the piezoelectric plate attached thereto. The two piezoelectric actuators are symmetrically arranged with respect to the base of the support frame to define a cavity therebetween and are electrically connected with an AC power source, so that the piezoelectric actuators can be driven to flex towards and away from each other with respect to the edge portions of the piezoelectric actuators, so that air pulses can be induced from the cavity between the piezoelectric actuators for heat dissipation. The piezoelectric cooling fan is light, compact, low noise, low power, and free of electromagnetic interference.

  • Publication number: 20060126869
Abstract: A flat piezoelectric speaker actuator includes a flat piezoelectric speaker actuator, which is separated into a central section and wide wing sections, wherein the symmetrical wide wing sections respectively extend from sides of the central section. Total length of the actuator equals length of the wide wing sections plus length of the central section; total width equals width of the wide wing sections; wing length equals the length of each of the wide wing sections; and central width equals width of the central section. When R1=R2=R3=1.618 and when total length=4.236 times the central width, superior values are achieved for degree of reduction in initial frequency and degree of flattening in a frequency response curve.

  • Patent number: 6834418
Abstract: The invention provides an interlacing air nozzle for increasing the airtightness thereof, wherein the dual-leverage principle thereof enables front and rear top members to simultaneously move up and down, and the front top member is also capable of pressing horizontally downward without abrading the structure as a whole. The main body of the invention includes a front top member, a rear top member, a connection piece, a base, a front base, a sliding member and an airtight washer member. The airtight washer member that is flexible using a spring is provided within the front top member, and the up-and-down movements thereof are employed for horizontally pressing the sliding member having an air inlet and a yarning groove above, thereby increasing the airtightness and practical values thereof.

  • Patent number: 6644966
Abstract: A carriage includes two or more beams each having a number of orifices for receiving a number of rods and for allowing the rods to be retained between the beams for supporting the objects to be heated by the kilns or furnaces. The beams each includes two end bulges each having a groove for receiving two ends of two bars, and for forming a stable supporting structure. The beams each includes a lower cavity and an upper projection for engaging with each other and for allowing the beams and the carriages to be superposed or piled with each other.

  • Publication number: 20020069928
Abstract: A weaving or spinning machine includes one or more thread guides secured on one or more fasteners and each having two ears, and a space formed between the ears for retaining a thread between the ears. The ears each includes a hook extended toward each other for retaining the thread between the ears. The ears of the thread guides may be engaged with each other with a projection-and-cavity engagement, for preventing the thread guides from being rotating relative to each other. One or more nuts may be engaged onto the fastener for fixing the thread guides on the fastener.
