    Abstract: A charge pump includes a chip and a package substrate packaged on the chip and installed in a circuit board. One of the 1st˜(X?Y)th external pins of the package substrate is electrically connected to the (X?Y)th input pin of the chip, and the other end of the same external pin is electrically connected to the input voltage of the circuit board. Thus, when the input voltage is being boosted through each capacitor of the circuit board, it is free from the action of the 1st through (X?Y?1)th transistors of the chip and therefore the original design of the 1st through (X?Y?1)th transistors can be maintained without causing any change in the output voltage Thus, the invention eliminates the problem of the prior art design that needs to change the internal circuit design when a different output voltage is required.

    Abstract: A virtual image display apparatus configured to be in front of at least one eye of a user includes an image display unit, a first beam splitting unit, and a reflection-refraction unit. The image display unit provides an image beam. The first beam splitting unit disposed on transmission paths of the image beam and an object beam causes at least one portion of the object beam to propagate to the eye and causes at least one portion of the image beam to propagate to the reflection-refraction unit. The reflection-refraction unit includes a lens portion and a reflecting portion on a first curved surface of the lens portion. At least part of the image beam travels through the lens portion, is reflected by the reflecting portion, travels trough the lens portion again, and is propagated to the eye by the first beam splitting unit in sequence.

Furthermore, the invention sums the absolute values of the moving averages of the differences of each pair of values adjacent to each other within a series of detected signal values to suppress both the interference of low-frequency noise and the interference of high-frequency noise. No synchronization with the input signal is necessary. The detection can be started at any phase of the input signal.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an operational-task-oriented system and method for dynamically adjusting operational environment applicable to a computer cluster. Each operational node of the computer cluster has two or more operational systems installed. After receiving the operational task, the control node estimates the time required for completing different tasks requiring different operational systems by appropriate operational nodes and compares the estimated finish time and the assigned finish time for judging how to adjust the operating system running in the operational nodes. Thereby, the operational task can be completed in the assigned finish time. Another method is to use the control node to analyze the proportions of the tasks requiring different operational systems in an operational task and hence adjusts the operational system running in an operational node according to the proportion of requirement. Thereby, the operational task can be completed in the shortest time.

The second processing unit controls the first variable lens based on the signal quality of the receiving signal to change the equivalent channel between the transmission signal and the receiving signal. Therefore, the transmission capability of the light communication system is enhanced.

    Abstract: An output power adjusting method is applied on an inverter. The inverter includes a capacitor to store direct current (DC) electricity provided by a photovoltaic (PV) module. At least the DC electricity provided by the PV module is converted into alternating current (AC) electricity. Determine whether a power value of the AC electricity exceeds a power threshold. When the AC electricity exceeds the power threshold, the inverter works in a continuous mode. When the AC electricity does not exceed the power threshold, the inverter works in a discontinuous mode where the PV module charges the capacitor. In the discontinuous mode, determine whether a voltage on the capacitor exceeds a reference voltage, and when the voltage on the capacitor exceeds the reference voltage, the DC electricity provided by the PV module and DC electricity in pulses provided by the capacitor are converted to the AC electricity.

The application of plasma is controlled to achieve a sufficient surface composition change to enhance adhesion characteristics while not adversely physically deforming the elastomeric component. The plasma treatment is applied to increase carbonyl functional group concentrations within an altered region of the elastomeric component to within at least a range of 2%-15% of carbon atomic percentage composition. The cleaning and activation is controlled, in part, by ensuring a defined height offset range is maintained between the elastomeric component and the plasma source by a generated tool path. The elastomeric component may then be adhered, with an adhesive, to another component.
