Abstract: The disclosure provides a system and method for an external processor to access internal register. The internal register may be a register of a core networking device. The method includes: sending, by an external processor, a read request to a core networking device; responding, by the core networking device, to the read request; sending, by the external processor, a write request to the core networking device; and preparing, by the core networking device, a register status notification of a register embedded in the core networking device and sends the register status notification to the external processor in response to the write request. The read and write requests and the responses are in a layer 2 protocol (L2 protocol).

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for transmitting a physical layer operation administration and maintenance (PLOAM) message over an Ethernet network. The method includes the steps of: transmitting, from a first terminal, the PLOAM message to a second terminal over a PLOAM channel connecting the first and second terminals; extracting, by the second terminal, the PLOAM message; sending, from the second terminal, the extracted PLOAM message to an external CPU over an Ethernet protocol; and processing, by the external CPU, the received PLOAM message to generate a processed PLOAM message.

Reset and recount the pulse count, and obtain which repeatedly. In this present invention the pulse count and the pulse interval between the target pulse signals can be determined freely according to a rate.

Abstract: An input apparatus for an electronic system with a plurality of hosts. Each of the input apparatuses and the hosts has a radio module. Each radio module has a unique identity and is capable of transmitting and receiving radio packet signals. When the radio module of a host receives a packet including the identity of the host, the host will resolve information in the packet. If the host receives a packet including an identity of another host, the host will discard and ignore the packet. The input apparatus also has an input interface, and stores the identities of the hosts. A user can select a host identity with the input interface, and the radio module of the input apparatus will transmit packets including the selected identity and commands inputted with the input interface, such that the host corresponding to the selected identity will receive commands inputted by the user without interfering with other hosts.
