  • Patent number: 11965956
Abstract: Techniques are discussed for determining reflected returns in radar sensor data. In some instances, pairs of radar returns may be compared to one another. For example, a reflection point may be determined from a first position of a first radar return and a second position of a second radar return. Additional data, e.g., sensor data and/or map data, may be used to determine the presence of objects in the environment. The first return or the second return may be a reflected return if an object is disposed at the reflection point. In some instances, a vehicle, such as an autonomous vehicle, may be controlled at the exclusion of information from reflected returns.

  • Patent number: 11958554
Abstract: Model-based control of dynamical systems typically requires accurate domain-specific knowledge and specifications system components. Generally, steering actuator dynamics can be difficult to model due to, for example, an integrated power steering control module, proprietary black box controls, etc. Further, it is difficult to capture the complex interplay of non-linear interactions, such as power steering, tire forces, etc. with sufficient accuracy. To overcome this limitation, a recurring neural network can be employed to model the steering dynamics of an autonomous vehicle. The resulting model can be used to generate feedforward steering commands for embedded control. Such a neural network model can be automatically generated with less domain-specific knowledge, can predict steering dynamics more accurately, and perform comparably to a high-fidelity first principle model when used for controlling the steering system of a self-driving vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240121233
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to systems and methods for automatic sign in upon account signup. Particularly, the present embodiments can utilize a federated login approach for automatic sign in upon account signup for a cloud infrastructure. Specifically, the signup and sign in service (also known as SOUP) and an identity provider portal can be configured such that the nodes are aware of each other as Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) partners. After new account registration, the signup service can redirect the user browser to a cloud infrastructure console to start with a federated login flow, where a sign in service can issue a SAML authentication request, and redirects it to signup service. Responsive to validating the browser using a SAML authentication process, the browser can be automatically signed into the new account and allowed access the account relating to the cloud infrastructure service.

  • Patent number: 11952001
Abstract: Driving simulations may be generated based on driving log data and used to validate autonomous vehicle safety systems. A driving simulation system may receive driving log data from autonomous vehicles and determine events which caused a vehicle to diverge from a planned trajectory. Driving simulations may be generated based on the driving log data, and executed using a simulated vehicle that follows the initial planned trajectory of the autonomous vehicle. The driving simulations may be analyzed to detect potential collisions and near misses, and to determine success conditions for the behaviors of vehicle safety systems. Driving simulations and associated success conditions may be aggregated and used in validation suites for vehicle controllers and/or vehicle safety systems, thereby providing more comprehensive and robust autonomous vehicle validation based on real-world driving scenarios.

  • Patent number: 11920594
Abstract: A screw compressor slide valve with gas pulsation attenuation function includes valve walls and internal through holes. A screw compressor includes the screw compressor slide valve. A part of exhausted gas of the screw compressor is directly discharged from an exhaust port to an exhaust chamber to form a main exhaust flow channel; another part of the exhausted gas is discharged from the exhaust port into the exhaust chamber after being delayed by the internal through holes, which forms a branched exhaust flow channel. Since the branched exhaust flow channel is longer than the main exhaust flow channel, when the gas pulsation in the branched exhaust flow channel lags behind that in the main exhaust flow channel by 180-degree in phase, two gas pulsations in the two flow channels are offset due to opposite gas pulsation phases, which attenuates the gas pulsation, thereby suppressing induced vibration and noise.

  • Patent number: 11912268
Abstract: Techniques for accurately predicting and avoiding collisions with objects detected in an environment of a vehicle are discussed herein. A vehicle safety system can implement a model to output data indicating an intersection probability between the object and a portion of the vehicle in the future. • Patent number: 11912301
Abstract: Techniques for analyzing driving scenarios are discussed herein. For example, techniques may include determining a level of exposure associated with scenarios, searching for similar scenarios, and generating new additional scenarios. A driving scenario may be represented as top-down multi-channel data. The top-down multi-channel data may be provided as input to a neural network trained to output a prediction of future events. A multi-dimensional vector representing the scenario can be received as an intermediate output from the neural network and may be stored to represent the scenario. Multi-dimensional vectors representing different scenarios may be stored in a multi-dimensional space, and similar scenarios may be identified by proximity searching of the multi-dimensional space.

  • Publication number: 20240064098
Abstract: A multicast packet sending method includes a first node that obtains a first multicast packet including multicast routing information of a second node, and sends the first multicast packet to the second node. The second node is a non-leaf subnode of the first node in a multicast tree. Multicast routing information of a node includes a multicast routing identifier of the node and multicast routing information of a non-leaf subnode of the node in the multicast tree. A multicast routing identifier of a node is used by the node to determine a subnode of the node in the multicast tree. The multicast routing information is embedded in the multicast packet, and multicast routing information of a tree recursive structure included in the multicast packet can describe packet forwarding information of the multicast tree or a subtree of the multicast tree.

  • Patent number: 11908204
Abstract: Navigation systems can identify objects in an environment and generate representations of those objects. A representation of an articulated vehicle can include two segments rotated relative to each other about a pivot, with a first segment corresponding to a first portion of the articulated vehicle and the second segment corresponding to a second portion of the articulated vehicle. The articulated object can be tracked in the environment by generating estimated updated states of the articulated agent based on previous states and/or measured states of the object using differing motion model updates for the differing portions. The estimated updated states may be determined using one or more filtering algorithms, which may be constrained using pseudo-observables.
