  • Patent number: 9762005
Abstract: An insulative fixing plate damaged when overheating limits two conductive elements from contacting with each other, forming a closed path, when overheating, opening two conductive elements by an elastic force to form an open circuit. Each conductive element has a groove concaved in from an edge, and the groove has a groove width. The insulative fixing plate includes a connecting element and two limiting elements combined at two ends of the connecting element. Each limiting element has a working width larger than the groove width, and a holding space between the two limiting elements contains the two conductive elements, thereby abutting the two limiting elements at an external side of the conductive element respectively and limiting the two conductive elements from contacting with each other. The connecting element is damaged when overheating. The insulative fixing plate is used in overheat protection for a plug or a socket.

  • Patent number: 9595836
Abstract: A power transfer circuit for achieving power transfer between stacked rechargeable battery cells is disclosed. The power transfer circuit includes an inductor, a first switch, a second switch and a controller. A loop of the rechargeable battery cell having higher power and the inductor is conducted so that the inductor stores power until the current flowing through the inductor meets the cutoff amount. Then, a loop of the rechargeable battery cell having lower power and the inductor is conducted so that the inductor releases the power saved in the inductor to the rechargeable battery cell having lower power until current flowing through the inductor changes direction. Therefore, balance between the rechargeable battery cells can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20160372878
Abstract: A hot melt insulation fixing plate, along with a plug and a socket using the hot melt insulation fixing plate are disclosed. The hot melt insulation fixing plate forms contact limit between two conductive members to constitute a closed path, and enables the two conductive members to be opened by an elastic force to form an open circuit when the hot melt fixing plate is damaged by overheat. The hot melt insulation fixing plate includes an insulative annular sleeve being sheathed on the two conductive members and having two opposite stopping parts and two opposite connecting parts that connect the two stopping parts. The two stopping parts and the two connecting parts commonly define a holding space to contain the two conductive members, forming contact limit between the two conductive members. The hot melt insulation fixing plate is further applied to overheat protection for a plug and a socket.

  • Patent number: 9484683
Abstract: The present invention discloses a conductive terminal including two conductive members or further comprising a hot melt fixing member. Each conductive member is provided with a groove which is concaved in from an edge of the host conductive member. The grooves on the two conductive members are opposite to each other and a gap is maintained between the two conductive members by an elastic force between the conductive members. The hot melt fixing member is put into the grooves of the two conductive members and is combined on the conductive members to overcome the elastic force, enabling the two conductive member to form contact limit, the hot melt fixing member to be damaged when overheat, and the two conductive members to be opened by the elastic force to form open circuit. The conductive member can be applied to overheat protection of a plug and a socket.

  • Patent number: 9478876
Abstract: A conductive clamp fixing structure of a socket includes a seat and at least a conductive clamp. The seat is provided with a clamp fixing slot along an orthogonal direction, the clamp fixing slot is disposed at a position corresponding to a receptacle and a periphery of the clamp fixing slot is provided with a first fixing member. The conductive clamp is disposed in the clamp fixing slot and is provided with a second fixing member corresponding to the first fixing member. By assembling the second fixing member with the first fixing member, when a pin of a plug is pulled up, the conductive clamp can be fixed along the orthogonal direction, a longitudinal direction and a transversal direction, so that the conductive clamp will not displace relatively and cause pool contact by being subjected to the components of force resulted from inserting or pulling the plug.

  • Patent number: 9431684
Abstract: A master-slave type battery management system for accurate capacity gauge of battery packs is disclosed. It includes several battery management units linked to each other via a communication line. Each battery management unit is linked to a specified rechargeable battery set to manage the specified rechargeable battery set, detect a physical measurement data from the specified rechargeable battery set and calculates battery set capacity related value based on the physical measurement data. Each battery management unit has a unique battery ID. By assigning a battery management unit having a specified battery ID as a master battery management unit, the rest battery management units become slave battery management units. Each slave battery management unit sends the physical measurement data and battery set capacity related value to the master battery management unit via the communication line. The master battery management unit is in charge of calculating related values and transmitting them.

  • Patent number: 9197090
Abstract: A system of communication between stacked integrated circuits powered by different voltage supply levels in a multiple cell-stacked battery pack is disclosed. The system includes a number of battery cells and a number of integrated circuits. Each integrated circuit includes a battery detecting unit, a data transceiving unit and a power acquiring unit. Since the data transceiving unit transmits signals by toggling voltage level, current flow which causes higher power consumption can be avoided. Meanwhile, the system of communication can therefore be applied to many internal communicating protocols.
