  • Patent number: 7181238
Abstract: The present invention discloses a structure for turning on/off the wireless communications of a notebook computer by a latch member, which comprises a latch groove disposed at a free end of a screen display of the notebook computer and a latch member disposed on a main system of the notebook computer at a position corresponding to the latch groove, wherein the latch member comprises a push member protruded from the front end of the main system, a hook section extended from the top of the main system and a guide pole disposed at an end corresponding to the other end of the push member. Further, a resuming type switch is disposed at a position corresponding to an end of the guide pole, such that when the screen display is lifted up and opened to press the push member of the latch member, the guided pole of the latch member presses the switch and thus the switch is electrically connected to turn the wireless communication online.

  • Publication number: 20030151291
Abstract: A stool includes a post with a seat and a base respectively connected to a top end and a lower end of the post. A foot rest having a tube located at a center of the ring is movably mounted to the post. A C-shaped secure bush is received in the tube and mounted on the post. The tube has a semi-circular lip extending from an end thereof and a secure piece has a fist end pivotally connected to a first end of the lip. A second end of the secure piece is connected to a second end of the lip by a quick release device so that the secure piece pushes the secure bush toward the post by operating the cam device. The position of the foot rest can be adjustable by operating the quick release device.

  • Patent number: 6466308
Abstract: The present invention disclose a method for measuring a thermal expansion coefficient of a thin film, in which the thin film is first deposited on two substrates having different thermal expansion coefficients under the same conditions. For each of the two deposited substrates, a relationship between the thin film stresses and the measuring temperatures is established by using a phase shifting interferometry technique, in which the stresses in the thin films are derived by comparing the deflections of the substrates prior to and after the deposition. Based on the two relationships the thermal expansion coefficient, and elastic modulus, E f ( 1 - v f ) , can be calculated, wherein Ef and &ngr;f are the Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio of the thin film, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5655386
Abstract: An ice crushing and feeding device located below an ice making apparatus including a V-shaped receiving means, an ice conveying mechanism, a speed control device, a crushing mechanism, an ice/chilled water mixing chamber and a feed pump for transferring solid/liquid mixtures. Ice produced by the ice making apparatus is guided by the receiving means into the conveying mechanism which by means of its rotational and pressing actions transfers the ice to the crushing mechanism to be crushed into fragments of a suitable size. The ice fragments are mixed with the chilled water in the mixing chamber at a predetermined proportion. The mixture is then transferred by the feed pump to each ice storage tank.
