Abstract: A method for the production of polyester film is disclosed including the steps of: esterifying at least one species of carboxylic acid with at least one species of glycol; adding to the ester composition macro particles of silica of an average diameter of approximately 1.3 to approximately 2.0 .mu.m and fine particles of aluminum oxide of an average diameter of approximately 20 to approximately 200 nm; polycondensing the resulting mixture, to give a filled polyester resin; melting the filled polyester resin; molding the melt into a sheet; and biaxially stretching the sheet to produce a film product which is superior in haze and in static friction coefficient (U.sub.x)/kinetic friction coefficient (U.sub.k) ratio The polyester film of the present invention does not appear milky. In addition, after slitting the polyester film and tightly winding it around a roll it does not have a substantial number of protrusions.

Abstract: A servo control method in the absence control signals is comprised of a compare routine (L1) and a non-signal phase control routine (L2). The compare routine (L1) is carried out in such a manner that an envelope value detected by controlling a capstan motor is compared with a predetermined value, when the control pulse is not detected. The non-signal phase control routine (L2) is carried out in such a manner that the phase of the capstan motor is adjusted until a desirable state of video signals arrives by making a dummy phase error section generate a dummy phase error signal when the detected envelope value is smaller than the predetermined value. According to the present invention, a normal picture can be maintained even when no control signals are detected from the tape.

Abstract: A parking garage building comprising a plurality of stories with each story having parking spaces marked thereon. The plurality of stories are divided into blocks of several stories each. An access ramp is connected to each story. A plurality of egress ramps are attached to the building with each egress ramp ascending from ground to one of the blocks without access to any lower block. Each egress ramp has access to each story of its associated block. The ramps can be arranged in helical fashion on the outside of the building.
