  • Publication number: 20140174588
Abstract: A contaminated hydrogen charging preventing system that prevents contaminated hydrogen from being supplied to a vehicle. In particular, a sensor that is disposed in a charging pipe that charges a hydrogen tank of a vehicle with senses/detects contaminates in the hydrogen. Upon sensing contaminated hydrogen, a controller configured to control a cutoff valve is controlled to close charging pipe so that the contaminated hydrogen cannot be supplied to the vehicle. In addition, a hydrogen charging station may also terminate the flow of hydrogen to a dispenser based upon receiving contaminated hydrogen information from the controller within the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8338035
Abstract: The present invention preferably provides a separator for a fuel cell, in which a strength reinforcing means is integrally formed in a region, which is not supported by a gasket, over the region from manifolds, through which reactant gases and coolant are supplied, to a reaction flow field, in which a reaction takes place, thus suitably preventing local deformation of the separator.

  • Patent number: 7776489
Abstract: A clamping device includes an oblique device and a unidirectional load control plate disposed on the outside of the fuel cell stack, not on the inside of the fuel cell stack. The device can automatically compensating the surface pressure in the fuel cell stack to be maintained constant, and provide a large clamping load with a small force using the load of the fuel cell stack.
