  • Patent number: 12198540
Abstract: A message transmission method for a roadside equipment includes the following steps. A plurality of external sensor information is received. A road intersection sign phase information and a road map information are inputted. An object position analysis, a speed analysis, and an sign analysis in object moving direction are performed based on the external sensor information, the road intersection sign phase information, and the road map information, and a classification of dangerous objects in different groups is outputted. According to a current transmission bandwidth limitation and the classification of the dangerous objects, a dangerous object message with a higher classification of the dangerous objects is preferentially selected and transmitted within available transmission bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20170359130
Abstract: Examples pertaining to prevention of crosstalk during single-ended line testing are described. In a far-end crosstalk (FEXT) cancelled single-point-to-multi-point time-division duplexing (TDD) orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) communication system, a first communication device may signal a plurality of second communication devices that there is a quiet period where one port of multiple ports of the first communication device will transmit zero energy on a plurality of communications channels between the first communication device and the second communication devices. The first communication device may transmit a stimulus on a selected port during the quiet period. The first communication device may derive loop parameters from an echo response of the stimulus.

  • Patent number: 9614582
Abstract: Various examples of mechanisms, systems, methods, techniques and devices for dynamic rate adaptation in a vectored G.fast (G.9701) system are described. A first communication device may perform estimation of a residual noise to derive signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) loss for each carrier of one or more carriers with respect to a transmitting port of the first communication device. The residual noise may be an increased noise expected to be experienced by a second communication device when one or more other ports in a vectored group of a plurality of ports of the first communication device are switched off. The first communication device may adapt to the residual noise during time slots of one or more downstream symbol positions where the one or more other ports in the vectored group are switched off by dynamically changing bit-loading.

  • Patent number: 9268365
Abstract: A protecting cover detachably disposed at an electronic device is provided. The electronic device has an arc side and a first magnetic element disposed in the arc side. The protecting cover includes a covering part and a pivot part. The pivot part is connected to the covering part, and the pivot part includes an arc area and a second magnetic element disposed in the arc area. The outer line of the arc area corresponds to the arc side, and the first magnetic element is magnetically attracted with the second magnetic element to make the pivot part detachably connected to the arc side. The protecting cover uses the second magnetic element in the pivot part to attract the electronic device with the first magnetic element in the arc side, and thus the protecting cover can be fixed at the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20150365131
Abstract: In the present disclosure, several techniques are proposed to estimate the worst-case crosstalk noise and use it for bit-loading and SRA calculations so that fluctuating crosstalk when PET mode is enabled does not lead to system instability. One of the proposed techniques involves strategically placing some marker tones in the transmitters of the affecting lines. The noise floor may be inferred by interpolating the noise observed on these marker tones (tones that are always-on) and applying to the entire frequency band on the victim line. Another proposed technique involves periodically transmitting a set of marker symbols (fully loaded OFDM symbols), so that a victim channel can estimate the SNRs in a worst case crosstalk scenario.

  • Publication number: 20150326305
Abstract: The present disclosure outlines mechanisms, systems, methods, techniques and devices that reposition a RMC symbol in a TDD frame. In one aspect, a method queues data transmission units (DTUs) for transmission in a TDD OFDM communication system, with each of the DTUs occupying a single symbol partially or fully, or multiple symbols, of a series of symbols in a TDD frame. The method also forms a management symbol for transmission in a kth symbol position of the series of symbol positions, k>1. The method further transmits the symbols sequentially in the TDD frame.

  • Patent number: 8783641
Abstract: A foldable supporting bracket for a portable electronic apparatus includes a supporting arm, a holding element, and two load-bearing bars. The supporting arm has a first pivot shaft at one terminal thereof and the holding element has a second pivot shaft at one terminal thereof. The two load-bearing bars are separated to each other and pivotally arranged between the first pivot shaft and the second pivot shaft to form a hollow containing region. The supporting arm and the holding element are pivotally connected to the two load-bearing bars via the first pivot shaft and the second pivot shat, respectively, so that the supporting arm and the holding element are flipped toward the hollow containing region. Accordingly, the supporting arm and the holding element are folded in the hollow containing region and then levelly arranged to the two load-bearing bars, thus reducing occupied space and increasing carry convenience.
