    Abstract: A Mask ROM is shown, including first resistors as a first part of memory cells, second resistors as a second part of memory cells, and contact plugs. Each first resistor includes: an undoped first poly-Si layer including an upper horizontal bar, a lower horizontal bar contiguous with the upper horizontal bar, and a step structure with a step height at which the two bars are contiguous, a spacer on the sidewall of the step structure, and a first silicide layer on the first poly-Si layer and being divided apart by the spacer. Each second resistor includes an undoped second poly-Si layer, and a contiguous second silicide layer on the second poly-Si layer. The contact plugs are disposed on the first silicide layer on the upper horizontal bar of each first poly-Si layer, and on the second silicide layer.

    Abstract: A filter for reducing image noise including a sum of absolute difference (SAD) unit and a weighting unit is provided. The SAD unit receives pixels of a target window and receives multiple pixels of multiple peripheral windows, which are neighboring to a target pixel of the target window. Each of the peripheral windows has a peripheral pixel neighboring to the target pixel. The SAD unit calculates absolute differences for each of the pixels corresponding to the target window and the peripheral window. The absolute differences are calculated by a difference calculation to obtain a difference analyzed value. The weighting unit receives each of the difference analyzed values and assigns multiple weights respectively to the peripheral pixels according to a data table.

    Abstract: A motion detection method includes steps of receiving a previous frame and a current frame, calculating a pixel value difference of a target pixel between the previous frame and the current frame to determine a temporal pixel difference, calculating pixel value differences between the target pixel and surrounding pixels of the target pixel in the previous frame and the current frame, respectively, to determine a spatial pixel difference, and dividing the temporal pixel difference by the spatial pixel difference to determine a motion value of the target pixel.
