    Abstract: A light measurement system measures light characteristics of a plurality of light sources and includes a processing unit, a plurality of capturing modules, a plurality of signal conversion units, and a demultiplexing unit. The processing unit generates a control signal for controlling the capturing modules to capture the light characteristics of the light sources. After capturing the light characteristics, the capturing modules output captured frequency-related data corresponding to the light characteristics respectively. Then, the capture frequency-related data are converted into capture bit codes by the signal conversion units respectively. Under the control of the processing unit, the demultiplexing unit selectively sends the capture bit code of each of the signal conversion units to the processing unit. Accordingly, the light measurement system measures the light sources synchronously and allows the demultiplexing unit to send the capture bit code of any one of the light sources to the processing unit.

    Abstract: A scanner with a simplified document feeding path is provided for scanning a document. The scanner includes a paper path, a conveying mechanism, an optical module and a scan window. The conveying mechanism conveys the document along the paper path. The optical module, rotatably disposed, captures an image of the document conveyed to a first position and a second position in the paper path, wherein the optical module captures a front-side image of the document at the first position and a back-side image of the document at the second position. The scan window, mounted on the optical module, is turned toward the first position and the second position as the optical module rotates, and the optical module captures the image of the document through the scan window.

    Abstract: A scanner includes a reference backing member, a scanning module, a transmission mechanism and a processing module. The scanning module scans the reference backing member and an original including first and second documents. The transmission mechanism moves one of the original and the scanning module relatively to the other. The scanning module scans the reference backing member and the original and successively obtains a first reference image signal representative of an image of the reference backing member, a first image signal representative of an image of the first document, a second reference image signal representative of the image of the reference backing member and a second image signal representative of an image of the second document.
