  • Patent number: 8734182
Abstract: The present invention discloses a USB application device including a body, a circuit board, a pins plate and a plurality of first electrical pins. The plurality of first electrical pins are enclosed previously by the pins plate, and a first end of each one of the plurality of first electrical pins is connected on the circuit board, so that the plurality of first electrical pins pass over a first surface of the circuit board and thus extend in suspension. The circuit board is disposed within the body and the pins plate is combined with the body, so that the plurality of first electrical pins are partly exposed by the body. The present invention also discloses a method for assembling a USB application device, which is capable of simplifying the process of disposing the plurality of first electrical pins on the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 8610666
Abstract: A wheel module for an input device includes a circuit board, a wheel swinging member, a wheel and a stopping arm. A plurality of switch elements are installed on the circuit board. These switch elements are arranged between the circuit board and the wheel swinging member. The wheel is disposed on the wheel swinging member. When the contact part of the stopping arm is moved to a specified position, the wheel is non-rotatable. By titling the wheel in a specified direction, the wheel swinging member is swung to trigger the switch element corresponding to the specified direction.

These switch elements are arranged between the circuit board and the wheel swinging member. The wheel is disposed on the wheel swinging member. When the wheel is moved downwardly relative to the wheel swinging member by a specified distance, an operating mode of the wheel module is switched from a rotating mode to a swinging mode. When the wheel module is operated in the rotating mode, the wheel is rotatable relative to the wheel swinging member. When the wheel module is operated in the swinging mode and the wheel is tilted in a specified direction, the wheel swinging member is synchronously swung relative to the circuit board to trigger a corresponding switch element.

  • Publication number: 20130215031
Abstract: The present invention discloses a roller module for an input device. The roller module includes a circuit board, a wheel swinging element arranged above the circuit board, a wheel arranged on the wheel swinging element, a mode switching element arranged between the circuit board and the wheel swinging element, a plurality of switches arranged between the circuit board and the wheel swinging element, and a micro control unit. When the wheel is moved downward a distance relative to the wheel swinging element, the wheel can't be rotated. When the wheel is pushed such that the wheel swinging element is tilted in a specific direction or moved downward, the corresponding one of the switches or the mode switching elements is triggered. When the mode switching element is triggered, the roller module is switched from a first working mode to a second working mode.

  • Patent number: 8430690
Abstract: The present invention discloses a USB application device including a body, a circuit board, a plurality of first electrical pins and a plurality of electrical elements. The circuit board is disposed in the body. The plurality of first electrical pins are disposed on the circuit board and expended to the body such that the plurality of first electrical pins are partly exposed to the body. A space is formed between the plurality of first electrical pins and circuit board such that the plurality of electrical elements can be disposed on the space. The length of the circuit board therefore becomes shorter, and the volume of the USB application device is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20130027308
Abstract: A wheel module for an input device includes a fixing shaft, a wheel and a swinging arm. The wheel has a recess or a hollow groove, so that a first saw-toothed structure and a second saw-toothed structure are formed within the wheel. When the contacting part of the swinging arm is contacted with the first saw-toothed structure, the wheel is operated in a first click-feeling mode. Whereas, when the contacting part of the swinging arm is contacted with the second saw-toothed structure, the wheel is operated in a second click-feeling mode.

  • Publication number: 20070273640
Abstract: An anti-harmful impact input device has one or more than one housing space formed in its main body. Each housing space accommodates at least one gravity buffer, and an elastic buffer is intercalated between the gravity buffer and the inner wall of the housing space. The gravity buffer is made of weights, lead beads, or other massive substance, and the elastic buffer is formed of two springs, rubber, cotton, foam cotton, or thermoplastic elastomer. Each of the two ends of the gravity buffer is connected to one end of the spring, whereas the other end thereof is mated to the inner wall surface of the housing space so as to suspend the gravity buffer in the housing space with the tensile force of the spring.

  • Publication number: 20070273639
Abstract: A track type impact buffered input device is equipped with an extra weight buffer. When the input device is moved from a position to another by the user, the weight buffer will retard the motion of the input device with its increased inertia as if a reversed force were applied to the input device. Hence, the impact force imposed on the user's wrist is alleviated by the retarding effect of the weight buffer, and the user does not need to exert a large force to stop the input device at the new position or when a sudden change of moving direction is required, thereby preventing potential injury to the user's wrist by the impact force.

  • Publication number: 20070252826
Abstract: A roller structure for input devices with improvement is disclosed. The roller structure of the present invention comprises a roller, a supporting seat, an encoder, a circuit board, a contact switch and a roller supporting seat. The supporting seat is disposed within the roller, and a space is provided on one side of the supporting seat so that the encoder is fixedly disposed in the space and hence the roller structure has a smaller size. A contact switch is provided on the circuit board. Two positioning protrusions are provided on the outside of the supporting seat and two positioning tracks are provided on the roller supporting seat so that the movement of the supporting seat may be guided and limited by the roller supporting seat. An activation protrusion is provided on the two positioning protrusions and may activate the contact switch when the supporting seat is pressed down.
