Abstract: A luminous basketball backboard includes a light guide backboard and a basketball rim disposed on a front side of the light guide backboard. The light guide backboard is provided with an LED light for emitting light toward the light guide backboard. A front face or a rear face of the light guide backboard has a plane area and a pattern area. The pattern area and the plane area are in different planes. When the LED light emits light, the pattern area of the light guide backboard changes a light propagation route so that the pattern area has a darker light color than that of the plane area, thereby presenting a corresponding decorative effect, such as patterns, characters, and logos.
