  • Publication number: 20070172142
Abstract: An image processing circuit for processing at least one jagged edge in an image represented by an input video signal. The image processing circuit includes: a detection module for detecting an edge by labeling a specific portion within input data carried by the input video signal to indicate whether the specific portion corresponds to a specific edge and further generates a detection result; a line buffer for temporarily storing input data carried by the input video signal; and a processing unit, coupled to the detection module and the line buffer, for processing the input data according to the detection result to output an output video signal.

  • Publication number: 20070154097
Abstract: An image edge detection method includes: classifying a plurality of candidate directions of an image region into a first direction set and at least one second direction set; computing a gradient for each candidate direction of the first direction set to obtain a first gradient set; determining if the first gradient set satisfies the conditions that one edge direction exists in the first direction set; and if the first gradient set does not satisfy the conditions, determining that none of the plurality of candidate directions is the edge direction of the image region.

  • Publication number: 20060204088
Abstract: An image processing method for adjusting color data of an image is disclosed. The color space of the image is divided into a plurality of color grids and the method includes: providing a first table recorded a plurality of parameters corresponding to the plurality of color grids, respectively; receiving color data of the target pixel of the image; selecting a parameter from the first table according to the color data of the target pixel; and adjusting the color data of the target pixel according to the selected parameter.

  • Patent number: 6954226
Abstract: A method of detecting motion is described. A first image is captured and exposed by a digital camera. The first image information is transferred to a control device. Gray level values of a specific group in the first image are then stored. Real-time gray level values corresponding to the specific group in a real time image are subsequently captured. The real-time gray level values of the specific group in a real time image are compared with the gray level values of the specific group in the first image. An amount of specific points with different gray level between the specific groups in the real-time image and the first image greater than N indicates an object of the real-time image is in motion or else the object of the real-time image is motionless. A sequential step for the object detected to be in motion is then performed. The real-time gray level values of the specific group in the real-time image are stored as the gray level values of the specific group in the first image.

  • Publication number: 20020051252
Abstract: The present invention is a fast method for image positioning of an image capturing device. The present invention refers to maintain relative position of each component of an digital image capturing device after assembly rather not to adjust the position of each component, such as, the position of an image sensor, a camera lens and a camera case. The present invention shifts a centerline of an image capturing area of the image sensor from a geometric centerline of the image sensor to an optical-axis centerline of the camera lens that the optical centerline of the image capturing area could be coincident with the optical-axis centerline of the camera lens.

  • Publication number: 20020039492
Abstract: A digital image-capturing device is mounted removably in a film-loading chamber of a camera body, and includes a lens unit disposed in front of an image-sensing device. The image-sensing device and the lens unit are aligned with a lens member on the camera body along an optical axis when the image-capturing device is disposed in the film-loading chamber. Activation of a shutter mechanism enables the lens unit to refract light rays from the lens member so as to adjust focusing and size of an image of a target object that is formed on a sensing plane of the image-sensing device. A memory device stores digital image data generated by the image-sensing device. A control device controls exposure time of the image-sensing device, and further controls storage of data in the memory device.
