Abstract: A semiconductor device is disclosed herein. The semiconductor device includes a routing structure. The routing structure has an intermediate conductive routing layer. The intermediate conductive routing layer includes a first mesh conductive layer formed in a predetermined second region of the semiconductor device and a second mesh conductive layer formed in a predetermined first region of the semiconductor device. The first mesh conductive layer and the second mesh conductive layer are electrically isolated from each other. The intermediate conductive routing layer further includes multiple first conductive islands formed in the predetermined first region and multiple second conductive islands formed in the predetermined second region.

Abstract: Disclosed is a multimedia server, including a virtual channel management unit, a virtual channel broadcasting unit, and a program on-demand playback unit. The virtual channel management unit associates a number of programs on-demand with a virtual channel, and creates a virtual schedule for the virtual channel. According to the virtual schedule, the virtual channel broadcasting unit provides broadcasting of the virtual channel to a number of nonspecific users. Meanwhile, the program on-demand playback unit, at any time in response to a user instruction selecting a program on-demand, provides the selected program to a user device.

Abstract: A method for upgrading a flash ROM of an optical disk drive and a chip for performing the method. The method includes sending an activating program to a first scratch pad memory, sending a firmware data to a second scratch pad memory, utilizing a microprocessor to load the activating program from the first scratch pad memory for upgrading the firmware sequence, and the upgraded firmware sequence records the firmware data stored in the second scratch pad memory into a flash ROM.
