Abstract: A printing method for calculating printing time of printing a file is provided. The printing method includes following steps. Obtaining the file size, page count of the file, and a plurality of printing parameters stored in a BIOS chip. Calculating an actual printing time and a waiting time between pages of the file according to the file size and pages, and the printing parameters. The sum printing time is displayed. Also, a printing system is provided in present disclosure.

Abstract: A system and method is used to control a portable phone according to signal intensity. The system includes a measurement module, a comparison module, and a switch module. The measurement module is capable of measuring an intensity of the signal which the portable phone receives. The comparison module is connected to the measurement module capable of receiving the measured intensity from the measurement module, and compares the measured intensity with a threshold intensity that is stored in the comparison module, and generates a comparison result. The switch module is connected to the comparison module and capable of receiving the comparison result form the comparison module. The switch module stores a plurality of work states of the portable phone, and switches the portable phone to work in a corresponding work state according to the comparison result.

Abstract: A method for deleting duplicate image files in a digital photo frame (DPF) includes selecting an image file for comparing to other image files in the DPF, determining if names of other image files and a name of the selected image file are the same, and determining if sizes of matching image files and a size of the selected image file are the same. If sizes are matching, the selected image file or the matching image files are automatically deleted. If the matching image files do not have the same size as the selected image file, a prompt asks if the user would like to delete the different sized matching image files or modify the names of the image files.
