Abstract: LED drivers specially directed to LED matrix driver's ghost image prevention is disclosed. The LED driver receives an external input and decodes the input to produce a time multiplex timing on turning on an LED array. The LED driver inserts a dead time to the outputs and during this time the ghost image prevention circuit discharges the output stray capacitances to a predetermined level.

Abstract: An apparatus for synchronizing light signals to a music input signal includes an analog to digital converter to generate a digital signal equivalent of the analog music input signal, an digital signal decoder to generate an output pulse width modulated signal that is representative of the tempo and the volume of the music input signal, a light driver unit that receives the output pulse width modulated signal to correspondingly light up a lighting unit, and a lighting unit that emits light. Thus, light brightness synchronizes with the music volume amplitude, and the light blinks on and off with the music tempo and beating.

The apparatus basically controls the switches through control algorithm circuit to get the information of LED driver output pins voltage and compare them with two reference voltages to determine the open/short condition of individual LED.

Abstract: An ON-OFF timer circuit for use in a DC-DC converter to minimize or eliminate the risk of developing sub-harmonic oscillations that may cause the dc-dc system to be unstable is presented. The apparatus controls and limits the ‘On’ time duration and ‘Off’ time duration within one pulse cycle.

Abstract: An apparatus for selecting either a High VIN path or a Low VIN path from a voltage source to a low voltage circuit is disclosed. The apparatus has a clamped step down circuit operable to select the High VIN path when a voltage level from the voltage source is above or equal to a pre-determined voltage level and, a power supply control circuit operable to select the Low VIN path when the voltage level from the voltage source is below the pre-determined voltage level.
