  • Patent number: 8908450
Abstract: A double density memory device including two synchronous dynamic random access memory chips, each having multiple data (DQ) signals, multiple address signals and multiple control signals. The chips are mounted in a package that provides interconnection terminals for conducting electrical signals to and from the memory chips. An interconnecting network is contained within the package to provide paths for electrically connecting the chip contact pad on each chip corresponding to a specific control or address signal to one interconnection terminal for that signal for both chips so that the control and address signals for the two chips are tied together. For each DQ signal, the chip contact pad on each chip corresponding to that DQ signal is connected by the interconnecting network to a separate interconnection terminal. The trace length between a chip contact pad and the interconnection terminal to which it connects for each signal is substantially the same.

  • Patent number: 8400797
Abstract: A power conversion system with zero-voltage start-up mechanism and a zero-voltage start-up device are disclosed. The system includes a power conversion circuit, a power factor correction unit, a storage capacitor, a storage switching unit, and a zero-voltage detection module. The storage switching unit is serially connected with the storage capacitor, and particularly controlled by the zero-voltage detection module. The zero-voltage detection module detects a timing as an input voltage is at low level, and then outputs a control signal to turn on the storage switching unit. Therefore, the present invention assures that the power conversion system is turned on when the input voltage is at the low level, in order to suppress the system from a surge current.

  • Patent number: 8278891
Abstract: Feedback voltage stabilizing apparatus, method, and power conversion system are disclosed. The apparatus includes a first switching unit, a second switching unit, and a conduction control unit. In which, the first switching unit is coupled to a feedback circuit for controlling whether a feedback signal is transmitted from a first end to a second end. The second switching unit is for avoiding voltage vibrations which caused by the feedback signal occurring at the second end. By capturing a detection signal, the conduction control unit can determine whether to simultaneously turn on the first switching unit and the second switching unit, in order to eliminate the voltage vibrations, or not.

  • Patent number: 8228646
Abstract: Apparatus and method for draining stored power are disclosed, which the apparatus and method are applied to an EMI filter circuit for draining power. When the power supply circuit is not working, the apparatus provides a bleeder resistor to drain the power stored in the capacitors of the EMI filter circuit. On the other hand, when the power supply circuit is working, the apparatus provides an open-circuit resistor which has extremely large electrical resistance in order to stop draining power. Thus, the apparatus for draining stored power will not cause extra power waste.
