    Abstract: A combined teething ring and rattle in which the rattle is rotatably mounted on a continuous shaft which extends through the rattle and into bores in the ring. The shaft is held in place in the ring by plugs which seal the open ends of the bores and which are permanently secured in place, such as by gluing or welding.
