  • Patent number: 10501136
Abstract: A lock assembly includes a driving member pivotably mounted in a frame and interlocks with a tappet. The driving member and a follower member pivot jointly when a follower pin is in a first position. The follower member is independently pivotable when the follower pin is in a second position. When the tappet is moved by a lock head from a front position to a rear position, an engaging member is moved to an engagement position engaged with the lock head to thereby lock the lock head, and the follower pin is in the first position. When the follower pin is moved to the second position, a return spring biases the follower member to independently pivot relative to the driving member to move the engaging member to a disengagement position, the tappet moves from the rear position to the front position, and the lock head is unlocked.

  • Patent number: 9435143
Abstract: A cylindrical lock includes an outer operational device mounted to an outer side of a door, an inner operational device mounted to an inner side of a door, and a latch device between the inner and outer operational devices. The inner operational device includes an inner spindle and a locking driving device mounted in the inner spindle and connected to a burglarproof system. The locking driving device includes a motor for moving a driving member to perform a locking function setting or an unlocking function setting. Thus, the cylindrical lock in the locking state will not turn into the unlocking state even if power failure occurs. Likewise, the cylindrical lock in the unlocking state will not turn into the locking state even if power failure occurs.

  • Patent number: 8590948
Abstract: An outer operational device includes a cover mounted to an outer side of a door. The outer operational device includes a handle and an actuating member operatively connected between the handle and a latch. A sliding block is movable between an alignment position and an alignment position under control of a driving device through electrification. When the sliding block is in the engagement position, a locking block locks the actuating member to prevent rotation of the handle, and the outer operational device is in a locked state avoiding retraction of the latch. When the sliding block is in the disengagement position, the sliding block allows rotation of the actuating member and the handle, and the outer operational device is in an unlocked state allowing retraction of the latch.

  • Patent number: 8528946
Abstract: A door lock (2) includes a linking rod (730) movable in an unlatching direction for moving a latch (38) to an unlatching position and movable in a latching direction for moving the latch (38) to a latching position. When a draw bar (640) is in an extended position and when an operative member (688) is operated, a follower plate (482) and the connecting rod (730) are moved in the unlatching direction through a connecting member (498) and a connecting rod (512). When the draw bar (640) is in a retracted position and when the operative member (688) is operated, the connecting member (498) and the connecting rod (512) are moved in the unlatching direction. Movement of the follower plate (482) in the unlatching direction is stopped by a stop member (668), preventing movement of the linking rod (730) in the unlatching direction and retaining the latch (38) in the latching position.

  • Patent number: 8267440
Abstract: A lock for a door includes a latch (128) to which an end of a connecting member (46) is operably coupled. A draw rod (48) is securely mounted to the connecting member (46) to move therewith. A base (32) is fixed to the door, and a slide (42) is slideably mounted to the base (32) in the vertical direction. An adjusting block (44) is fixed to the draw rod (48) to move therewith. An adjusting screw (446) is rotatably extended through the slide (42) and threadedly engaged with the adjusting block (44) so that movement of the slide (42) in the vertical direction causes movement of the adjusting block (44) and the connecting member (46) in the vertical direction and of the latch (128) between locking and unlocking positions. Rotation of the adjusting screw (446) causes movement of the adjusting block (44) and the connecting device (40) in the vertical direction to adjust the locking position of the latch (128) relative to the door (10).

  • Patent number: 8051689
Abstract: A cylindrical lock includes inner and outer chassis, inner and outer spindles, and first and second actuating members. One of the first and second actuating members is selectively and rotatably received in the outer spindle. Each of the first and second actuating members includes a limiting groove having first and second groove sections with different arcs in a circumferential direction about a longitudinal axis. A driving member is rotatably received in one of the first and second actuating members. The driving member has a leg movable in the outer spindle between first and second positions along the longitudinal axis and received in one of the first and second groove sections. A driving device is received in the inner spindle. The cylindrical lock has two modes corresponding to selective use of the first and second actuating members to provide locking/unlocking states through supply or not supply of electricity to the driving device.

  • Patent number: 7887107
Abstract: A latch assembly includes a base mounted to a door and a latch bolt having a latch pivotably connected to the base. The latch bolt further includes a link pivotably connected to the latch and the base. A follower plate is pivotably connected to the link, allowing pivotal movement of the follower plate and the link relative to the base and allowing relative pivotal movement between the follower plate and the link. A linking rod is coupled with the follower plate to move therewith. When the linking rod moves in a vertical direction, the follower plate moves together with the linking rod to pivot the latch between a latching position and an unlatching position. The latch assembly can be utilized as a surfaced-type or concealed-type bottom latch. After adding some parts, the latch assembly can be converted into a surfaced-type or concealed-type top latch.
