    Abstract: A photo resist layer is used to protect a dielectric layer and conductive elements embedded in the dielectric layer when patterning an etch stop layer underlying the dielectric layer. The photo resist layer may further be used to etch another dielectric layer underlying the etch stop layer, where etching the next dielectric layer exposes a contact, such as a gate contact. The bottom layer can be used to protect the conductive elements embedded in the dielectric layer from a wet etchant used to etch the etch stop layer.

    Abstract: A Totem Pole PFC circuit includes at least one fast-switching leg, a slow-switching leg, and a control unit. Each fast-switching leg includes a fast-switching upper switch and a fast-switching lower switch. The slow-switching leg is coupled in parallel to the at least one fast-switching leg, and the slow-switching leg includes a slow-switching upper switch and a slow-switching lower switch. The control unit receives an AC voltage with a phase angle, and the control unit includes a current detection loop, a voltage detection loop, and a control loop. The control loop generates a second control signal assembly to respectively control the slow-switching upper switch and the slow-switching lower switch. The control loop controls the second control signal assembly to follow the phase angle, and dynamically adjusts a duty cycle of the second control signal assembly to turn on or turn off the slow-switching upper switch and the slow-switching lower switch.

    Abstract: A method of screening breast cancer includes collecting serum samples from breast cancer patient; measuring WISP1 level in the serum sample; and comparing the serum WISP1 level of the healthy persons with the WISP1 level in the serum sample of the breast cancer patients. The mean serum WISP1 level is 631.5 pg/ml for healthy persons and the mean serum WISP1 level is 934.5 pg/ml for patients having breast cancer so that WISP1 level of 934.5 pg/ml is configured to be a biomarker in determining whether a subject has high risk of breast cancer occurrence or not.

The flat-scene judging module divides the image into a central area and a plurality of peripheral areas, and determines whether the captured scene is a flat scene according to the divided image. The step-judging module determines whether the driving steps corresponding to a maximum focusing value of the central area of the image are same as driving steps corresponding to respective maximum focusing values of the peripheral areas of image, and changes the driving steps corresponding to the maximum focusing value of the central area to the driving steps corresponding to the greatest one of the maximum focusing values of the peripheral areas.
