  • Patent number: 8204917
Abstract: An intermediary apparatus, an intermediary method, and a computer program product thereof for storing data in a storage apparatus, and a data storage system comprising the same are provided. The storage apparatus has a storage zone with a signature field, and the signature field stores a first signature value. The data has index information and a data signature value. After searching out the storage zone according to the index information, the intermediary apparatus extracts the first signature value from the storage zone, and then determines if the data has been stored in the storage zone according to the first signature value and the data signature value. If not, the intermediary apparatus writes the data into the storage zone; otherwise, ignores the data.

  • Publication number: 20090289772
Abstract: A method and a system for analyzing signals from an electronic tag and a recording medium thereof are provided. The method includes the following steps. At least one reading point is defined, wherein each of the reading points includes at least one reader device. A plurality of states is defined according to logical combinations of the reading points. At least one predetermined state sequence is defined according to sequential permutations of the states. Signals are received from the electronic tag through the reader devices of the reader points. The signals received from the electronic tag are converted into the states according to the content of the signals and the definition of the reading points through a logical processing procedure, and a temporary state sequence is generated. The temporary state sequence is compared with the predetermined state sequences, and a corresponding response procedure is executed according to the comparison result.

  • Publication number: 20070229217
Abstract: A RFID automatic guarding system for campus safety is disclosed, which applies active ultra high frequency (UHF) RFID technology. The system comprises hanging the RFID active tag on students; transmitting a signal from the RFID locator to the RFID active tag once the students go through general or restricted area where the RFID locator is sited; receiving a driving signal by the RFID active tag from the RFID locator; transmitting stored data from the RFID active tag to the RFID reader; transmitting the stored data from the RFID reader to a middleware server; integrating the stored data by the middleware server; transmitting the integrated data to an application server; meanwhile transmitting the integrated data to parents or school administrators, wherein the integrated data can be received by cellular phone or computer and shows message of arriving school, leaving school, breaking into restricted area, or overstaying on school bus of students.

  • Patent number: 5382396
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a porous Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 ceramic filter, wherein silicon powder, the raw material, methyl cellulose, the binding agent, and water, the solvent, are well-mixed together to obtain a slurry. A sponge is then dipped into the slurry to adsorb the slurry. After drying the sponge in an oven, it is biscuit fired at 350.degree. C. for 2 hours, and then sintered at 1200-1400.degree. C. for 15 hours.
