Abstract: The present disclosure provides a biopsy device for performing soft tissue biopsy on any major organ through the venous system, and a method for using the biopsy device. The biopsy device of the present disclosure is a system that is sufficiently flexible such that the system can be guided manually and with existing tools i.e., fluoroscopy for visualisation and simple guidewires. Once in place, the biopsy device of the present disclosure can generate enough force and can transmit that force to the distal cutting end of the system to penetrate the organ and obtain a biopsy.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a catheter for insertion into a subject and navigation to a target organ, the catheter comprising: a first elongated tube and a second elongated tube; the first elongated tube having a first lumen with a first proximal end and a first distal end; and the second elongated tube having a second lumen with a c-shaped cross section forming a channel with a second proximal end and a second distal end, the second elongated tube sharing a common wall with the first elongated tube.

Abstract: An isolation chamber includes a plurality of walls and ceiling defining an internal chamber and a first and second door. The doors seal engagement with the walls. A fan filter unit is arranged to extract air from the internal chamber. The isolation chamber is arranged to couple to a doorway, and the coupling arranged to provide an airtight seal about the doorway.

Abstract: A cannulation assembly comprising: a housing; a needle selectively extendable from a proximal end of said housing; a tube arranged to pass through the housing and through a bore of said needle such that an insertion end of said tube is arranged to selectively project from an insertion end of said needle; a slide mounted to the needle in sliding engagement with the housing and arranged to move the needle from a retracted position to an insertion position such that the needle projects from said housing; wherein said slide is further arranged to move the needle from the insertion position to a locked position such that the needle is fully retracted.
