Abstract: A portable tile cutter includes a main unit having a base frame and a guard connected to the base frame, a cutter blade pivotally mounted at the guard, a driving unit connected to the guard and operable to rotate the cutter blade, a first handle connected to the driving unit, and a second handle connected to the guard and providing a grip. The component parts of the portable tile cutter are so arranged that moving one or both the driving unit and the second handle can achieve adjustment of the gap between the first handle and the grip of the second handle. Thus, the portable tile cutter can fit different users having different body sizes.

Abstract: A foldable water tray used in a tile cutter includes a water tank having a water chamber, a first tray movable in and out of the water chamber of the water tank between an application position and a storage position, and a second tray pivotally connected to the first tray and biasable relative to the first tray between an extended position where the second tray defines with the first tray a predetermined contained angle and a collapsed position where the second tray covers the first tray and can be moved with the first tray between the application position and the storage position.

Abstract: A tile cutter includes a base, and a cutting head assembly including a supporting arm having one end pivotally connected to the base and an opposite end connected to the saw base for enabling the cutting head assembly to be biased relative to the base and selectively positioned in a standby position, a cutting position or a received position. When shifting the cutting head assembly from the standby position to the cutting position, the supporting arm is received by a stopper to limit the cutting depth of the cutting head assembly. When shifting the cutting head assembly from the cutting position to the received position, the stopper is moved to release the supporting arm. When the cutting head assembly is shifted to the received position, a part of the saw base and the saw blade are received in a sink in the base.

Abstract: A cutting arm assembly used in a tile cutter is disclosed to include a swing arm pivotally connected with a bottom end thereof to a worktable and having first and second through holes disposed near an opposing top end thereof, a first supporting tube having one end thereof affixed to a saw-cutting device and an opposite end thereof fastened to the first through hole of the swing arm with a first mounting device set, and a second supporting tube having one end thereof affixed to the saw-cutting device and an opposite end thereof fastened to the second through hole of the swing arm with a second mounting device set. Thus, the cutting arm assembly has a simple structure capable of providing excellent support to the saw-cutting device and facilitating installation and maintenance.
