Abstract: The present invention discloses a free-cut warp-knitted elastic fabric with a hidden cross stripe and a method for knitting thereof. The method includes: making a non-elastic yarn pass across a guide needle of the first guide bar and form the surface of the fabric by knitting via three needles in an open warp sateen loop mode, and making an elastic yarn pass across a guide needle of the second guide bar and form the inside of the fabric by knitting with the aforementioned non-elastic yarn in the same direction via three needles in an open warp sateen loop mode. The warp-knitted fabric provided by the present invention can be arbitrarily cut, does not ravel easily, is free of hemming-stitch, and has a hidden cross stripe effect.

Abstract: The present invention provides a free-cut warp-knitted elastic fabric and a method for production thereof. The method uses a first guide bar and a second guide bar of a tricot warp knitting machine for knitting, wherein a non-elastic yarn passes across a guide needle of the first guide bar and forms the surface of the fabric by knitting via two needles in a 1×1 warp plain stitch loop mode, and an elastic yarn passes across a guide needle of the second guide bar and forms the inside of the fabric by knitting with the aforementioned non-elastic yarn in the same direction via two needles in a 1×1 double warp plain stitch loop mode. Finally the fabric which has good resilience, can be arbitrarily cut, and has low raveling property, good elasticity and high snagging level is obtained.

The gripping and gummy characteristics on the technical face of the fabric composed of the non-elastomeric and elastomeric yarns are firmly accomplished and quantifiably exposed. A method of manufacturing the warp knitted fabric of this type is also disclosed.

Abstract: A warp knitted fabric includes a non-elastic filament yarns threaded from a first guide bar and knitted in a 1×2 open Koper stitch pattern, and an elastic yarns threaded from a second guide bar and knitted in a 1×1 closed pillar stitch pattern. The elasticity of the knitted fabric composed of the elastic and non-elastic filament yarns are substantially the same in both longitudinal and transverse directions. A method of manufacturing the warp knitted fabric is also disclosed.
