    Abstract: An optical assembly for head wearable display includes a light redirecting layer, provided in a first optical path between a first light emitter and a first eye of a viewer, the light redirecting layer including a plurality of three dimensional geometric patterns that are cyclically provided on one surface of the light redirecting layer. The light redirecting layer includes a plurality of subunit sections, each of the plurality of subunit sections respectively includes the plurality of three dimensional geometric patterns with different physical dimensions for respectively receiving and redirecting light emission of different wavelengths of a first light signal emitted by the first light emitter toward the first eye of the viewer with different incident angles, the first light signal corresponds to a first pixel of an image. The plurality of three dimensional geometric patterns include pillar like three dimensional nanostructure protruding from a surface of the light redirecting layer.

A geometry of the first light redirector is configured such that a light signal emitted by the first light emitter in proximity to the first spatial dimension limit has a total optical path length from the first light emitter to the eye of the viewer substantially equal to a total optical path length of another light signal emitted by the first light emitter in proximity to the second spatial dimension limit from the first light emitter to the eye of the viewer.

    Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image. A system for superimposing a virtual image on a real-time image comprises a real-time image module and a virtual image module. The real-time image module comprises a magnification assembly to generate a real-time image of an object at a first location and a first depth, with a predetermined magnification. The virtual image module generates a virtual image by respectively projecting a right light signal to a viewer's right eye and a corresponding left light signal to a viewer's left eye. The right light signal and the corresponding left light signal are perceived by the viewer to display the virtual image at a second location and a second depth. The second depth is related to an angle between the right light signal and the corresponding left light signal projected to the viewer's eyes. The second depth may be approximately the same as the first depth.

The positions of server computers are identified based on images of the servers captured by a camera or by polling the states of the UID lights.

    Abstract: A display may have a stretchable portion with hermetically sealed rigid pixel islands. A flexible interconnect region may be interposed between the hermetically sealed rigid pixel islands. The hermetically sealed rigid pixel islands may include organic light-emitting diode (OLED) pixels. A conductive cutting structure may have an undercut that causes a discontinuity in a conductive OLED layer to mitigate lateral leakage. The conductive cutting structure may also be electrically connected to a cathode for the OLED pixels and provide a cathode voltage to the cathode. First and second inorganic passivation layers may be formed over the OLED pixels. Multiple discrete portions of an organic inkjet printed layer may be interposed between the first and second inorganic passivation layers.
