  • Publication number: 20160005795
Abstract: An organic tandem photovoltaic device includes a first electrode, a second electrode spaced apart from said first electrode, first and second photoactive organic bulk heterojunction layers, and an interconnecting layer. The interconnecting layer is between and electrically connects the first and second photoactive organic bulk heterojunction layers. The interconnecting layer includes an electron extracting interface layer of a first inorganic material and a hole extracting interface layer of a second inorganic material.

  • Patent number: 8993998
Abstract: An electro-optic device includes a first electrode, an active layer formed over and electrically connected with the first electrode, a buffer layer formed over and electrically connected with the active layer, and a second electrode formed directly on the buffer layer. The second electrode includes a plurality of nanowires interconnected into a network of nanowires. The buffer layer provides a physical barrier between the active layer and the plurality of nanowires to prevent damage to the active layer while the second electrode is formed.

  • Publication number: 20110056534
Abstract: A semitransparent photovoltaic film is provided, including a flexible substrate that integrates a plurality of first and second planar portions, and a plurality of photovoltaic cells. An angle is also included correspondingly between the first and the second planar portions. The photovoltaic cells are formed on a plurality of surfaces of the first planar portions of the flexible substrate. According to a design of the semitransparent photovoltaic film, most directly incident sunlight is absorbed and then converted into electricity, and most of the lights progressing horizontally or on a upward slant can pass through the film, thereby achieving the transparent visual effect.

  • Patent number: 7551684
Abstract: A wireless communication system includes an antenna, a receiving module, a power source, and a power control hub. The power control hub includes an amplifier having a first end coupled to the receiving module and a second end coupled to the power source. The amplifier generates a first output signal based on a control signal of the receiving module. The power control hub includes a rectifier having a first end coupled to the output end of the amplifier and a second end coupled to the power source. The rectifier generates a second output signal based on the first output signal. The power control hub also includes a switch. A first and a second end of the switch are electrically connected or disconnected based on the second output signal received at a control end of the switch.
