  • Patent number: 10237471
Abstract: An auto-focusing method capable of varying focal length of a lens of an camera device according to time variation is applied to the camera device with the lens. The auto-focusing method includes dividing a capturing period of the camera device into a plurality of time intervals, generating a plurality of sampling values within each time interval by several focusing process, utilizing the plurality of sampling values to calculate an estimation value relative to the each time interval, and driving the camera device to adjust the focal length of the lens of an camera device in accordance with capturing time of the camera device and the estimation values of the plurality of time intervals.

  • Publication number: 20130104215
Abstract: A system and a method for managing network devices are provided. The method includes the following steps. A central server is connected to a plurality of authenticated network devices via a network interface. The MAC (Media Access Control) address and the corresponding Internet Protocol (IP) address are stored in a database of the central server. The central server uses the MAC address to identify each authenticated network device. The central server periodically detects whether the IP address of each authenticated network device is changed. If the IP address of one or more of the authenticated network devices is changed, the central server updates the IP address corresponding to the MAC address stored in the database according to the changed IP address.

  • Publication number: 20120109891
Abstract: A data synchronization system includes a receiver and a transmitter. The receiver includes a remote storage circuit, first remote controller, and second remote controller. The transmitter includes a local storage circuit and a local controller. In response to local volume information corresponding to the local storage circuit, the controller establishes a main communication link and a redundant communication link respectively connected to the first remote and the second remote controllers. When the first remote controller operates normally, the data synchronization takes place between the receiver and the transmitter via the main communication link. When the first remote controller operates abnormally, the second remote controller takes the operation of the first remote controller for controlling the receiver, so that the data synchronization takes place between the receiver and the transmitter via the redundant communication link.
