  • Publication number: 20100306189
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sensor network managing apparatus and a method thereof. The sensor network managing apparatus according to the present invention receives a query that includes a spatial join predicate for searching for target sensor nodes and a comparison predicate that is different for each sensor network, and generates query execution order information for searching for the target sensor nodes based on the spatial join predicate and the comparison predicate, wherein the spatial join predicate is related to a spatial location between sensor nodes respectively included in different sensor networks, and the comparison predicate are related to sensing values of sensor nodes of the sensor networks. In addition, the sensor node managing apparatus executes queries for the spatial join predicate and the comparison predicate on the plurality of sensor nodes on the basis of determined query execution order, and then extracts target sensor nodes as the query results.

  • Publication number: 20100033575
Abstract: An event surveillance system includes: a network camera for monitoring real-time video images to perform event tracking on an event occurred therein; and at least one machine-to-machine agent, connected to the network camera and devices in a network, for providing protocols for data communications between the network camera and the devices. If the machine-to-machine agent receives information on the event occurred in the network camera, the machine-to-machine agent requests the devices to provide event information for use in verifying accuracy of the event and verifies the accuracy of the event based on the event information provided by the devices. The network camera monitors in real time the event verified to be accurate.

  • Publication number: 20030118037
Abstract: An apparatus and method for interworking at least two switching system networks is disclosed. According to the disclosure, interworking is possible by processing a call process message using only one interworking function for both networks. Accordingly, there is no need for interworking protocol such as the ATM Inter-Network Interface (AINI). Preferably, the two networks are a Private Network to Network Interface (PNNI) type network and a B-ISDN User Part (B-ISUP) type network, and an interworking function is coupled to both a PNNI interface and a B-ISUP Interface. Preferably, addresses are registered at each of the interfaces and messages to be transmitted between networks are converted from an origination network protocol to a destination network protocol according to an interworking function table.
