Abstract: A semiconductor device and method of manufacturing the same are provided. The semiconductor device includes a first active region extending along a first direction. The semiconductor device also includes a second active region extending along the first direction. The semiconductor device further includes a first gate extending along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The first gate has a first segment disposed between the first active region and the second active region. In addition, the semiconductor device includes a first electrical conductor extending along the second direction and across the first active region and the second active region, wherein the first segment of the first gate and the first electrical conductor are partially overlapped to form a first capacitor.

Abstract: An epitaxial structure of a semiconductor light-emitting element includes an n-type layer, a V-pit control layer, a light-emitting layer, and a p-type layer stacked from bottom to top. The light-emitting layer includes a plurality of well layers and a plurality of barrier layers stacked alternately. The V-pit control layer includes a first superlattice layer, and a distance between a bottom surface of the V-pit control layer and a bottom surface of the first superlattice layer is less than or equal to 0.15 ?m. The bottom surface of the first superlattice layer and a bottom surface of the light-emitting layer have a distance therebetween ranging from 0.05 ?m to 0.3 ?m, and each of the first superlattice layer and the light-emitting layer is an Indium (In)-containing layer. A semiconductor light-emitting element and a light-emitting device are also provided.

Abstract: A multi-piece wheel frame includes a rim and a disc. The rim includes a barrel, and an outer rim portion protruding outwardly from the barrel. The outer rim portion forms an inclined surface, and a ring edge surface connected to an outer edge of the inclined surface and cooperating with the inclined surface to form an obtuse angle. The disc is fixed to the rim, and includes a disc core, a plurality of spoke portions extending radially outwardly from the disc core, and a reinforced ring portion connected to the spoke portions and fixed to the outer rim portion. The reinforced ring portion abuts against at least one of the inclined surface and the ring edge surface.

Abstract: A multi-piece wheel rim includes a first component made of carbon fiber and having a plurality of slots; dissimilar material members made of a material other than carbon fiber and respectively fixed into the slots, each dissimilar member having plasticity and a tapped hole; threaded bushings engaging respectively and threadedly the tapped holes of the dissimilar material members; a second component; and headed screws extending through the second component and respectively engaging threadedly the threaded bushings, thereby fastening the second component to the first component. A method is hereby disclosed for fastening together components of the multi-piece wheel rim.

Abstract: A wheel rim includes a body unit, angularly spaced-apart fastening units, and sealing units corresponding respectively in position to the fastening units. The body unit includes spokes and a peripheral wall surrounding the spokes and having radially opposite inner and outer surfaces. Each fastening unit includes a fastening member that extends through the peripheral wall and into a respective one of the spokes for fastening the same, and that has a head disposed outwardly of the outer peripheral wall, and a gasket that is clamped between the head and the outer surface and that is sleeved on the fastening member. For each fastening unit, the respective sealing unit includes an outer sealing layer adhered on an outer face of the fastening member and the outer surface for covering the head and the gasket, and an inner sealing layer adhered on and clamped between the outer surface and the gasket.

The first fastening members fasten the spokes to the rim such that removal of the first fastening member permits separation of the spoke from the rim.
