The method includes receiving an HO request from another BS for a User Equipment (UE) that has an established connection with the BS, receiving a connection reestablishment request from the UE after an HO of the UE to the other BS has been performed, determining if the connection reestablishment request is received prior to the expiration of a timer, and if it is determined that the connection reestablishment request is received from the UE prior to the expiration of a timer, determining that an RLF occurred due to a too early HO triggering.
