  • Publication number: 20140185948
Abstract: Provided are methods for storing and obtaining motion prediction-related information in inter motion prediction method. The method for storing the motion prediction-related information may include obtaining size information of prediction unit of a picture, and adaptively storing motion prediction-related information of the picture on the basis of the obtained size information of prediction unit of the picture. The method for obtaining the motion prediction-related information may include searching a first temporal motion prediction candidate block to obtain first temporal motion prediction-related information in the first temporal motion prediction candidate block, and searching a second temporal motion prediction candidate block to obtain second temporal motion prediction-related information in the second temporal motion prediction candidate block. Thus, a memory space for storing the motion prediction-related information may be efficiently utilized.

  • Publication number: 20130122924
Abstract: Provided is a method of mitigating interference caused by a base station. The method includes (a) determining whether there is an accessible base station among one or more base stations, and (b) sequentially determining channel information, which enables minimization of transmission power of each of the base stations, by base station among channel information between each of the base stations and a terminal to transmit the determined channel information to each of the base stations until an accessible base station is found when there is no accessible base station.

  • Publication number: 20130108182
Abstract: A method of decoding an image includes the steps of restoring a residual value by performing inverse quantization and inverse transform on the residual value by entropy decoding a received bit stream, generating a prediction unit by performing intra prediction selectively using one of a plurality of prediction modes on a prediction unit split by conducting at least one of asymmetric partitioning and geometrical partitioning, and restoring an image by adding the residual value to the prediction unit. It may be possible to enhance encoding efficiency of high-resolution images having a resolution of HD or higher by performing intra prediction on the asymmetric partitioning and/or geometrical partitioning.

  • Publication number: 20130070723
Abstract: Provided is a differential precoding method for reducing inter-user interference and increasing the sum rate. The differential precoding method comprises initializing a precoding matrix with a first (Precoding Matrix Indicator (PMI) for a channel between a mobile station and a base station; and updating the precoding matrix with a second PMI for the channel and side information for adaptively updating the precoding matrix according to a change speed of a state of the channel, wherein the side information has a quantized scalar value.

  • Publication number: 20120328035
Abstract: A method and apparatus for efficiently transmitting data in an MIMO communication system are provided. The method includes receiving first Channel State Information (CSI) fed back from a plurality of terminals; requesting feedback of second CSI from the respective terminals, the second CSI differing from the first CSI; and determining the terminals to be grouped by using at least one of the first CSI and second CSI, when the second CSI is fed back from the respective terminals.

  • Publication number: 20080151123
Abstract: This document relates to a broadcasting receiver that receives TV and radio broadcasting. In an embodiment of this document, the broadcasting receiver comprises one or more channel select units for receiving TV and radio services, a display unit, a plurality of audio output units, and a controller. If a radio service is selected while a TV service is played, the controller determines whether the radio service is within the same transponder as that of the TV service, and if it is determined that the radio service is within the same transponder, controls the channel select units, the display unit, and the audio output unit to receive the TV service and the radio service at the same time and output video of the TV service and audio of the radio service.

  • Patent number: 6477001
Abstract: An auto-balancing disk drive apparatus is disclosed which makes it possible to decrease the installation space of an auto balancing unit thereof which is capable of automatically preventing an up and down movement of a disk when the disk is rotated at a high speed, reducing the driving force which is needed for the rotation of the disk and auto balancing unit, and reducing the noise and vibration which occur at the auto balancing unit. The disk drive apparatus includes a motor generating a rotational force with respect to a rotary shaft, and an auto balancing unit installed radially laterally and co-planar with respect to the rotary shaft for automatically correcting an unbalanced state of a rotation member when an unbalanced state occurs at the rotation member.
