    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an AI-assisted screening method and model that capable of automatically extracting prominent intrabeat dynamic patterns associated with HFpEF from apical 4-chamber (A4C) view images. The method comprises steps of: (a) segmenting the plurality of A4C view images to produce a plurality of segmented images; (b) extracting a plurality of features from each segmented A4C view images of step (a) to produce a plurality of linear waveforms; and (c) training the plurality of linear waveforms of step (b) with the diagnosis of the subjects, thereby establishing the model. Also herein is a method for identifying and treating a subject having HFpEF by providing a medicament to the subject having HFpEF identified by the present model.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a biochip for tracking postoperative recurrence status of a patient with lung adenocarcinoma. The biochip comprises a bare plate layer, the bare plate layer comprises a sensing electrode, and the sensing electrode comprises a biological agent capable of measuring an expression amount of a GPNMB gene. The present invention further provides a method for tracking the postoperative recurrence status of a patient with lung adenocarcinoma. The method comprises the following steps: step one, providing a sample from a patient with lung adenocarcinoma; step two: contacting the sample with a carrier capable of detecting an expression amount of a GPNMB gene; and step three: analyzing a change of the expression amount of the GPNMB gene to track the postoperative recurrence status of the patient with lung adenocarcinoma.

In the system and method thereof, one heart chamber (such as a left atrium, a left ventricular, a right atrium, right ventricular or aortic structure) can be selected in a 3D-based cardiac image (such as a CT or MRI image), and slices of the selected heart chamber are reconstructed and unwrapped by a 2D mapping visual display manner. The visual display and required angle alignment planes for subsequent analysis will be adjusted and achieved by operator manually, with specific global and regional architectural analysis performed by automatic algorithm.

The evaluation system includes a data reading module, an image generating module, a contour determination module, an active contour module, a geometric center axis computing module, a view angle selection module and a function evaluation module. After reading cardiovascular graphic files with the data reading module, the image generating module displays 2D images or a 3D image constructed from the 2D images. Then, active contours are generated by the contour determination module and the active contour module, so as for the geometric center axis computing module to calculate geometric center axes. The view angle selection module then rotates the 3D image according to the view angle data received and modifies the 2D image files accordingly to generate plural cross-section images of the 3D image. Finally, the function evaluation module calculates evaluation parameters according to the geometric center axes.
