  • Patent number: 11964881
Abstract: A method for making iridium oxide nanoparticles includes dissolving an iridium salt to obtain a salt-containing solution, mixing a complexing agent with the salt-containing solution to obtain a blend solution, and adding an oxidating agent to the blend solution to obtain a product mixture. A molar ratio of a complexing compound of the complexing agent to the iridium salt is controlled in a predetermined range so as to permit the product mixture to include iridium oxide nanoparticles.

  • Patent number: 9202005
Abstract: A design verification workstation contains both debug and constraint solver capabilities during simulation of a design under test. The design verification workstation is configured to allow the user to debug constraints, stop the constraint solver, navigate problems and variables, and make modifications on-the fly during the simulation to constraint information. Additionally, in some embodiments, the design verification workstation may allow a user to use a constraint solver to experiment if the modifications will lead to desired test stimulus. Since this debug process happens during simulation, users do not need to recompile the test case. Additionally, once a user is satisfied with the modifications made to the simulation, the modification could be saved for future usage.

  • Patent number: 8026984
Abstract: A multimedia television is provided. The multimedia television includes a video playback apparatus, an audio processing device, M front loudspeakers, a rear audio playback apparatus, and a mixing device. The video playback apparatus is used for displaying a video signal. The audio processing device processes an audio signal into a multi-channel audio signal consisting of M front sub-audio signals and N rear sub-audio signals. Each front loudspeaker plays back one corresponding front sub-audio signal. And, the mixing device mixes the N rear sub-audio signals into a mixed audio signal, which is then wirelessly transmitted to the rear audio playback apparatus. After the mixed audio signal is processed into N rear sub-audio signals, N rear loudspeakers in the rear audio playback apparatus playback the N rear sub-audio signals.

  • Publication number: 20080101632
Abstract: A wireless multi-channel audio system is provided. The audio system includes a multiplexer, a transmitting antenna, a transmitter, and M playback apparatuses. First, the multiplexer receives M channels of audio signals and adds an ith identification to the ith channel of audio signals among the M channels of audio signals. Next, the multiplexer mixes the M channels of audio signals to generate a mixed signal in a time-division multiplexing way. After receiving the mixed signal from the multiplexer, the transmitter transmits the mixed signal through the transmitting antenna. The ith playback apparatus among the M playback apparatuses includes an ith antenna, an ith receiver, and an ith loudspeaker. The ith receiver receives the ith channel of audio signals from the mixed signal according to the ith identification and through the ith antenna. And, the ith loudspeaker plays back the ith channel of audio signal received by the ith receiver.

  • Patent number: 6823432
Abstract: A method and apparatus for load distribution across memory banks with constrained access is accomplished using a bank balancer that ensures that data to be buffered is evenly distributed throughout the various banks of the memory structure. The bank balancer maintains bank depth information relating to each of the banks. The bank balancer receives dequeue and enqueue information, where the dequeue information specifies read operations that will remove data from the various banks, and the enqueue information indicates that there is data to be written to the memory banks. The dequeue information constrains which banks may be utilized to enqueue received data. In order to determine to which banks to enqueue data, the bank balancer sorts the banks by their depth. The bank balancer then eliminates those banks which cannot be used for enqueue operations due to either the dequeue operations or other enqueue operations that have already been determined.
