    Abstract: A dual-axis hinge includes at least a connecting section, an upper hinge and a lower hinge. The connecting section has two sides orthogonally connected to the upper and lower hinges respectively. The connecting section has a circuit cavity that communicates with circuit outlets of the upper and lower hinges to form a passage for accommodating a transmission circuit. The upper hinge is connected to a first sleeve for joining the top cover of a folding electronic product, and the lower hinge is connected to a second sleeve for joining the body of the folding electronic product. These connections enable the top cover to rotate in at least two different directions.

    Abstract: A optical sensing module based on signals having pulse width modulation and a method thereof are disclosed for sensing a light source and providing an output signal having pulse width modulation. The optical sensing module comprises an optical sensor, a signal processing unit, and a duty cycle modulation unit. The signal processing unit provides a modulation control signal based on a sensing signal generated by sensing the light source from the optical sensor in conjunction with a gain control signal. The duty cycle modulation unit modulates the duty cycle of the pulse width modulation input signal to generate the pulse width modulation output signal based on the modulation control signal. The duty cycle difference between the duty cycle of the input signal and the duty cycle of the output signal is proportional to the intensity difference between the light source and a reference light source.

    Abstract: A signal generating and switching apparatus and a method thereof are provided. According to a simple layout technique, the signal switching apparatus is formed in each layer of a plurality of metal layers in an integrated circuit. When there is a need to correct any one of the plurality of conductive layers in the integrated circuit, the changing of the signal switching apparatus in that conductive layer can be achieved by changing mask patterns of the conductive layer. As a result, the transmission path of signals in the conductive layer is changed, and the purpose to change output logic signals is achieved. Therefore, there is no need to change additional conductive layers, thereby significantly reducing the correcting cost of the integrated circuit.

    Abstract: This invention discloses an illumination method and an illumination control method. An embodiment of the illumination system includes two light detection modules for detecting a light produced by a light emitting diode and an ambient light, calculating a reference spectral distribution based on a detection result of the ambient light, comparing the detection result of the light emitting diode with the reference spectral distribution, and driving the illumination module to emit a light matching with the reference spectral distribution based on a comparison result. Another embodiment of the illumination system includes a light detection module for periodically switching the light emitting diode to emit light and stop emitting light. When the light emitting diode stops an illumination period, the light detection module detects an ambient light, and when the light emitting diode continues an illumination period, the light detection module detects a light produced by the light emitting diode.

The light sensing circuit senses the ambient light to produce a digital ambient color temperature index value. The memory unit stores a lookup table of brightness expression rates and gamma adjustment parameters corresponding to different color temperature index values. The image processing module produces a gamma adjustment parameter by a lookup table based on the color temperature index value and generates the gamma expression rate of the image input signal.

    Abstract: A system for multilevel simulation of an animation cloth is provided. The system includes a multilevel area generation module, a curvature calculation module, a curvature comparison module, and a dynamic simulation module. The multilevel area generation module divides a plurality of grid units of the animation cloth into a plurality of level sub-areas based on a multilevel technique, wherein each of the level sub-areas is generated by dividing an upper level sub-area. The curvature calculation module calculates the curvatures of the level sub-areas according to the plane vectors of the grid units in a frame. The curvature comparison module compares the curvatures of the level sub-areas with a flatness threshold. The dynamic simulation module calculates the plane vector of each grid unit in a next frame through different method according to the comparison result of the curvature comparison module.
