  • Patent number: 5692259
Abstract: A rinsing method for a washing machine, which can prevent the waste of the washing liquid and can improve the rinsing effect, is disclosed. The rinsing method has the steps of introducing the washing liquid into an outer tub, spinning a spin tub such that the washing liquid contained in the clothing is discharged into a sump area, repeatedly spraying the washing liquid into the spin tub by circulating the washing liquid collected in the sump area, and draining the washing liquid collected in the sump area out of the washing machine. The rinsing method repeats the steps at least one time. Since the washing liquid is sprayed toward an upper wall of the spin tub, impurities formed between the outer tub and the spin tub are effectively removed. By the rinsing method, the washing liquid can be saved and the rinsing effect can be improved.

  • Patent number: 5687440
Abstract: Disclosed is a washing method which can eliminate suds or foam created in the course of washing by a washing machine and can effectively prevent the creation of foam, thereby improving the washing efficiency of the washing machine. In the washing method, a part of the washing liquid is continuously recirculated and sprayed during the washing process while the washing liquid is partially drained at each predetermined time interval. In the rinsing process, a part of the rinsing water is also continuously recirculated and sprayed during the rinsing process while the rinsing water is partially drained at each predetermined time interval.

  • Patent number: 5660063
Abstract: Disclosed is a filter installed in a water-flowing path of a washing machine. The filter improves the washing effect and protects the water-flowing path in the washing machine. The filter can be easily assembled and disassembled outside the washing machine. The filter has a body being fixed to and penetrating through the housing of the washing machine, a mesh member inserted in the body to filter the washing liquid passing therethrough, a locking lid assembled integrally with and relatively rotatable to the mesh member, and an annular packing tightly wound on the mesh member to prevent leakage between the body and the mesh member. A user can insert the mesh member into the body, and then rotate the locking lid so that the first locking protuberances of the locking lid are engaged with the second locking protuberances, thereby the mesh member is assembled in the body.

  • Patent number: 5657650
Abstract: A washing machine having a spraying nozzle assembly which not only sprays the circulated washing liquid onto the clothing evenly, but also completely removes impurities formed between an outer tub and a spin tub is disclosed. The spraying nozzle assembly has an upper frame and a lower frame secured to the upper frame. The lower frame has a plurality of spraying nozzles at its underside. Each spraying nozzle is circumferentially spaced apart from each other. Each spraying nozzle extends toward the upper inner wall of the spin tub so that impurities such as foam formed between the spin tub and the outer tub can be completely removed without wasting any washing liquid.
