  • Patent number: 9689865
Abstract: The present invention provides a personal hygiene item. In simple terms, one of the main features of the present invention is to provide a low-cost personal hygiene item capable of providing a multi-component detection function. The personal hygiene item of the present invention mainly comprises a first material layer and a second material layer. The first material layer is made of hydrophobic material, and the second material layer is disposed thereon. Also, the second material layer comprises a discolored portion. In actual practice, a fluid under test contacts with the corresponding discolored portions via the hydrophobic layer of second material layer for a color changing reaction. Meanwhile, since the hydrophilic performance of the discolored portion is better than the hydrophilic performance of the hydrophilic layer, the back permeation of the fluid under test can herein be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20160109435
Abstract: The present invention provides a fabric-base biochemical detecting device and the fabricating method thereof. The device comprises a fabric-base material, a detecting material, and glue. The fabricating method comprises the following steps of: (S1) preparing a fabric-base material, and the basic material is a hydrophobic fabric-base material; (S2) applying a plasma to treat part of the hydrophobic fabric-base material for forming a hydrophilic region on the fabric-base material; (S3) preparing a detecting material to be disposed on the hydrophilic region of the fabric-base material; and (S4) preparing glue for covering the detecting material. The present invention can extend the duration of the detecting material by covering the glue with the detecting material, and have the advantages of simplified manufacture procedure, low cost, and availability of multiple biochemical examinations.

  • Publication number: 20160106599
Abstract: The present invention provides a fiber-weaving hygiene item and the fabricating method thereof. The hygiene item comprises a substrate, a fabric-base fiber, and a sensing matter. The fabricating method comprises the following steps: preparing a substrate, forming a plurality of penetrating holds on the substrate, preparing a fabric-base fiber and interlacing the fabric-base fiber on a first surface and a second surface of the substrate, and disposing a sensing matter on the fabric-base fiber, wherein the hydrophilicity of the fabric-base fiber is higher than that of the substrate. The present invention applies the characteristic of the higher hydrophilicity of the fabric-base fiber for luring a matter under test toward the fabric-base fiber. When the matter under test is contacted with the fabric-base fiber, the sensing matter can change its color for bio-examination. Using the present invention, multiple bio-examinations can be done for examining the matter under test.

  • Publication number: 20160109436
Abstract: The present invention provides a sensor having chemical inspecting function and the inspecting material contained therein. In simple terms, one of the major features of the present invention is to reduce the detection area contacted with air between the gel and the inspecting material so as to slow down the degradation thereof. The other feature of the invention is to provide the detailed compositional parameters required by the inspecting material in the said process so as to obtain a balanced value between the cost and the visibility. By the present invention, the problem of short retention period of the personal hygiene item is herein solved.

  • Publication number: 20160011191
Abstract: A detection kit applied for detecting a body fluid sample of an organism includes a sampling device and a detecting device. The sampling device includes a sampling unit and a filtering unit detachably covering the sampling unit. The sampling unit collects the body fluid sample that is filtered by the filtering unit. The detecting device includes at least one reaction zone including a fiber substrate and a detecting reagent immobilized to the fiber substrate. The reaction zone is disposed as the fiber substrate contacts the body fluid sample collected by the sampling unit. The fiber substrate absorbs the body fluid sample collected by the sampling unit, so that the body fluid sample reacts with the detecting reagent for the detection. A detection method for detecting a body fluid sample is also disclosed. This invention is advantageous for simplified pretreatment, less amount of the reagent and rapid analysis.
