  • Publication number: 20240139301
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method of active immunotherapy for a cancer patient, comprising administering vaccines against Globo series antigens (i.e., Globo H, SSEA-3 and SSEA-4). Specifically, the method comprises administering Globo H-CRM197 (OBI-833/821) in patients with cancer. The disclosure also provides a method of selecting a cancer patient who is suitable as treatment candidate for immunotherapy. Exemplary immune response can be characterized by reduction of the severity of disease, including but not limited to, prevention of disease, delay in onset of disease, decreased severity of symptoms, decreased morbidity and delayed mortality.

  • Publication number: 20240105750
Abstract: A CMOS image sensor includes PDAF pixels distributed in an array of image pixels in plan view. Each PDAF pixel includes m×m binned photodiodes, a PDAF color filter overlying the binned photodiodes and laterally surrounded by a first isolation structure, and a PDAF micro-lens overlying the PDAF color filter. A first horizontal distance between a center of the PDAF color filter and a center of the binned photodiodes varies depending on a location of the PDAF pixel in plan view in the CMOS image sensor. Additionally, the first isolation structure includes a first low-n dielectric grid, a second low-n dielectric grid underlying the first low-n dielectric grid, and a metal grid enclosed by the second low-n dielectric grid. The second low-n dielectric grid includes a filler dielectric material different from a second low-n dielectric grid material. Thus, quantum efficiency and uniformity of the CMOS image sensor are improved.

  • Patent number: 11940388
Abstract: Example methods are provided to improve placement of an adaptor (210,220) to a mobile computing device (100) to measure a test strip (221) coupled to the adaptor (220) with a camera (104) and a screen (108) on a face of the mobile computing device (100). The method may include displaying a light area on a first portion of the screen (108). The first portion may be adjacent to the camera (104). The light area and the camera (104) may be aligned with a key area of the test strip (221) so that the camera (104) is configured to capture an image of the key area. The method may further include providing first guiding information for a user to place the adaptor (210,220) to the mobile computing device (100) according to a position of the light area on the screen (108).

  • Publication number: 20240085613
Abstract: A backlight module includes a light guide plate, a light source, a first prism sheet, and a second prism sheet. The light source is disposed on a light incident surface of the light guide plate. The first prism sheet is disposed on a side of a light exiting surface of the light guide plate and has multiple first prism structures facing the light guide plate. The second prism sheet has multiple second prism structures facing the light guide plate. An included angle between an extending direction of the first prism structures and an extending direction of the second prism structures is greater than or equal to 85 degrees and less than or equal to 95 degrees. An included angle between the extending direction of the second prism structures and the light incident surface is greater than or equal to 85 degrees and less than or equal to 95 degrees.

  • Publication number: 20130187458
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention discloses a power saving outlet system and a method for controlling thereof. The power saving outlet system includes a main outlet, at least one auxiliary outlet, a current detection unit, and a control unit. The current detection unit generates a current detection signal according to an operational current of the main device. And the control unit determines if the current detection signal is smaller than the threshold value to selectively cause an electrical power to be delivered from the external power source to the auxiliary device.
