    Abstract: A communication method and apparatus resolves a problem that a resource usage status reported by a network device is inaccurate. The method includes: a first network device receives resource status information from a second network device, where the resource status information includes LBT-related resource information; and the first network device determines a resource usage status of the second network device based on the resource status information. In the foregoing manner, the first network device may determine a resource that is to be released by the second network device, a resource that may be occupied, and the like. In this way, the first network device may perform conversion on the resource usage status of the second network device, to obtain an accurate resource usage status, and in particular, have more accurate estimation on an estimated future resource usage status.

The communication method also includes selecting, by the terminal device, a cell in response to a radio link failure (RLF) in a source cell before the terminal device determines a target cell. The target cell is determined according to the CHO command. The communication method additionally includes sending first information to a network device. The first information includes a first parameter. The first parameter is related to a CHO failure caused by the RLF in the source cell.

    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives a target SSB from a base station. The UE obtains received data carried in a broadcast channel of the target SSB. The UE reconstructs, based on received data carried in a broadcast channel of a previously received SSB, transmitted data placed in the broadcast channel of the target SSB at the base station. The UE preforms a channel estimation and/or synchronization based on a comparison of the received data and the transmitted data of the target SSB.

    Abstract: A method to jointly perform beam management, synchronization, and L1 measurements using a single synchronization signal block (SSB) burst in NR systems is proposed to improve data rate and to reduce power consumption. In a scheduling based SSB method, a UE is scheduled to perform either beam management or synchronization and L1 measurements alternatively. In a joint SSB method, a UE performs beam management, synchronization, and L1 RSRP/SNR measurements within a single SSB burst simultaneously. The UE can dynamically switch between the two SSB methods based on predefined conditions. Further, multiple joint SSB modes are introduced for the joint SSB method, where either 3 OFDM symbols or 4 OFDM symbols of each SSB burst are used. UE can dynamically switch among the joint SSB modes depending on contamination level on the OFDM symbol carrying PSS.

A transmitter may parse an encoded bit stream into a plurality of spatial streams. The transmitter may determine an allocation of encoded bits of the plurality of spatial streams to a plurality of interleavers. The transmitter may allocate the encoded bits to the plurality of interleavers based on the determined allocation. The allocation of the encoded bits may be determined based on one or more of channel related feedback, an RU configuration associated with the transmission, a quality of service (QoS), and/or traffic priorities. The transmitter may interleave the encoded bits using the plurality of interleavers. The transmitter may combine the interleaved encoded bits from the plurality of interleavers into a sequenced bit stream.
