The banknote processing method includes: scanning a substrate through the image acquisition module while acquiring banknote image data through an image acquisition module to obtain substrate image data; acquiring a characteristic value of the substrate image data; calculating a change value of the characteristic value of the substrate image data relative to a reference characteristic value; judging whether the change value is greater than a preset threshold value; and configuring parameters of the image acquisition module if it is judged that the change value is greater than the threshold value.

The frame includes a first side wall and a second side wall being disposed oppositely to each other. The reading component is disposed between the first side wall and the second side wall. A first end surface of the reading component is in insertion connection with the first side wall through an insertion member. The insertion member is in linear contact or point contact with the first side wall, and can pivot on a contact position relative to the first side wall in the process of assembling. A second end surface of the reading component is fixedly connected with the second side wall through a connection piece.

The banknote recognition apparatus includes a nonvolatile memory (14) and a control unit (11) configured to record a state of an event to the nonvolatile memory (14) during a banknote processing process, wherein the event is a key step in the banknote processing process. The apparatus and the method solve a problem that an abnormity often occurs when the banknote recognition apparatus stores banknote processing information to the nonvolatile memory (14) upon a power failure, thus the banknote processing information can be stored effectively when the power failure occurs on the banknote recognition apparatus.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for detecting the conveyance status of a banknote, comprising; detecting whether the banknote reaches a first position in a banknote passage within a first predetermined time; detecting whether the banknote reaches a second position in the banknote passage within a second predetermined time when it is determined that the banknote has reached the first position (S14); determining whether the status of the banknote at the first position is changed from Banknote Detected to Banknote Undetected when it is determined that the banknote is withdrawn when it is determined that the status of the banknote at the first position has changed from Banknote Detected to Banknote Undetected (S18). This application can increase the possibility of the banknote processing device in detecting whether the banknote is withdrawn. Meanwhile, the disclosure provides a device for processing a banknote.
