    Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of batteries, and discloses a battery and a power consuming device. The battery includes: a plurality of first battery cells and a plurality of second battery cells, at least one of the second battery cells being provided between any two of the first battery cells, and any one of the second battery cells being adjacent to at least one of the second battery cells; wherein the thermal stability of the second battery cell is higher than the thermal stability of the first battery cell. With the technical solution of the present application, the risk of the spread of thermal runaway of the battery can be reduced, and thus the safety of the battery can be enhanced.
