    Abstract: A display apparatus includes: a liquid crystal panel; a plurality of light sources configured to emit light; and a substrate including a plurality of dimming blocks arranged in rows and columns, wherein each of the plurality of dimming blocks includes at least four light sources from among the plurality of light sources, and the least four light sources are connected in series with each other and arranged in rows and columns on a first surface of the substrate, the substrate includes a plurality of holes extending from the first surface of the substrate to a second surface of the substrate, the first surface of the substrate and the second surface of the substrate are electrically connected through the plurality of holes, and each of the plurality of holes is in a region surrounded by the at least four light sources of each respective dimming block of the plurality of dimming blocks.
