Specifically, the use of Martentoxin or an active fragment thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in preparing a preparation or composition for treating and/or preventing epilepsy is described. It has been confirmed for the first time that the Martentoxin can effectively treat and/or prevent epileptic symptoms.

If a filter cartridge is not installed or an inappropriately designed filter cartridge is installed, the ball is moved from the first position to the second position to seal an outlet opening of the outlet. If the described filter cartridge is installed, the ball is retained at the first position by a holding member and the valve allows filtered fluid flow into the outlet opening.
