By disposing the first and second conductive layers in the confined space of such a device, and controlling voltages for the first and second conductive layers, this application can change the size and the direction of the electric field in the confined space. As such, the long axis of the one-dimensional nanometer conductive material located in the confined space can be arranged along the direction of the electric field, so as to form a grating.
