  • Publication number: 20030222753
Abstract: An automobile safety cutout with a fault indicator comprises an electric light emitting object, a fuse, two electrodes that are linked by the fuse and are wired respectively to each terminal of the electric light emitting object, and an insulating case. The fuse blows when a circuit the automobile safety cutout protects experiences an anomalous electricity supply or a short circuit, which results in a difference in electric potential between the electrodes. Because automobile electricity supply is of direct current, this potential difference is steady. The electric light emitting object straddling the electrodes is then powered by the potential difference, and is lighted up.

  • Publication number: 20020070221
Abstract: A foldable tool kit comprises two abutted elongate first compartments, two abutted second compartments on either side of the first compartment, each second compartment being smaller than the first compartment, and a plurality of hinges each for coupling each of the second compartments to the first compartment or two of the second compartments on the same side. The stored tools are protected from being lost due to the provisions of engaged positioning pegs and holes on the second compartments as well as prevented from mixing due to the provision of covers on the second compartments while carrying.

  • Patent number: 6243246
Abstract: A device for warning an automotive circuit breakdown comprises a housing and an apparatus located in the housing and provided with a negative conductive piece, a positive conductive piece, a fuse connecting the negative conductive piece and the positive conductive piece, a light-emitting diode fastened with the negative conductive piece, and a coiled spring fastened at one end thereof with the positive conductive piece and at other end thereof with an elastic piece. When the electric current of the automotive circuit becomes too strong, the fuse melts to break the circuit. The electric current is then made available via the coiled spring and the elastic piece to the light-emitting diode which emits light to warn of the automotive circuit breakdown.
