  • Patent number: 6932631
Abstract: A socket protective cover capable of preventing single-opening insertions includes a housing, a sliding base and covers. The housing has insertion openings. The sliding base is capable of transverse displacement in the housing, and has restoring elasticity. The covers are also provided with restoring elasticity, and have blocking members for extending into the insertion openings of the housing. When the blocking members at the covers are not simultaneously pushed and departed from the insertion openings, the other blocking member not pushed away from the insertion opening remains in the insertion opening and blocks sideward movements of the sliding base, thereby forbidding an alien object from pushing away the blocking members and thus preventing the alien object from entering the socket.

  • Patent number: 6913467
Abstract: A multiple socket having rotatable socket units includes pivotally rotatable socket units at a housing. The housing has first and second conducting straps at an interior thereof. The first and second conducting straps are pivotally connected with first and second insertion straps in each socket unit. The socket unit is capable of driving the first and second insertion straps for further freely rotating relative to the housing. Using the above structure, the socket units are capable of adjusting directions thereof, thereby avoiding plugs from blocking insertion openings of adjacent socket units.

  • Patent number: 6786745
Abstract: A safety protective cover for socket receptacles includes an upper housing, a sliding base, a first elastic member, a second elastic member, and a lower housing. The upper and lower housings are provided with receptacles, respectively. The sliding base is capable of vertical and horizontal movements between the upper and lower housings, and has elastic restoring forces. The sliding base further has stopping members that can be extended into the receptacles of the housings. When the stopping members of the cover are not simultaneously pushed away from the receptacles, the other stopping member not being pushed away blocks in the receptacle to stop horizontal displacement of the sliding base, thereby prohibiting an alien object from pushing away the stopping member and entering the socket.

  • Patent number: 6780038
Abstract: A multiple socket having rotatable receptacles includes a plurality of sets of receptacles at a housing of the multiple socket, and a first conducting strap and a second conducting strap at an interior of the housing. At positions corresponding to positions of the receptacles, the first conducting strap and the second conducting strap are provided with clamping portions for inserting with pins of plugs. At least one set of receptacles is disposed at the housing in a rotatable manner, and the receptacles are provided with insertion openings at positions corresponding to the clamping portions. When the receptacles rotate pivotally, the insertion openings are rotated regard the clamping portions as rotation axes thereof, such that regardless of directions of the receptacles pivotally rotated, the pins of the plugs are penetrated in these specific directions through the insertion openings to come into contact with the clamping portions.

  • Patent number: 6776630
Abstract: A safety socket protective cover includes an outer housing, an inner housing, a sliding cover, an elastic support member and an elastic member. The sliding cover, the elastic support member and the elastic member are disposed at a gap between the outer housing and the inner housing. The sliding cover is provided with wedge members for corresponding with receptacles at the outer housing, wherein each wedge member has a passive inclined plane. The elastic support member has elastic restoring forces and is disposed below the sliding cover. The elastic member is pressed between the sliding cover and the outer housing. When the sliding cover receives abnormal forces, the wedge members block the receptacles at the outer housing due to unequal forces received, thereby preventing alien objects from entering the receptacles.

  • Publication number: 20040058587
Abstract: A wire connecting section of plug conducting terminal includes a wire connecting section at a tip of a conducting terminal, wherein the wire connecting section is provided with open portions in different shapes and quantities. When a core terminal of a power line is clamped and fastened at the wire connecting section, the open portions at the wire connecting terminal allow molten solder to rapidly seep through, thereby securely welding and joining the wire connecting section with the core terminal of the power line. Using the aforesaid structure, false-welding and accompanied shortcomings as disengagement of the core terminal, and poor contact and conductivity are prevented, while accomplishing objects as economizing materials and lowering production costs.
