  • Publication number: 20250114140
Abstract: In some examples, a neuromodulation catheter includes a neuromodulation element convertible between a low-profile delivery state and a radially expanded deployed state, the neuromodulation element including: an elongated structure configured to have a substantially linear shape defining a longitudinal axis when the neuromodulation element is in the low-profile delivery state, and further configured to have a coiled shape defining a coiled outer surface when the neuromodulation element is in the radially expanded deployed state; one or more electrodes spaced longitudinally apart along the longitudinal axis of the elongated structure; and one or more wires coupled to respective electrodes of one or more electrodes at respective coupling points, wherein the coupling points are arranged such that, when the neuromodulation element is in the deployed state, the coupling points are oriented along the coiled outer surface of the elongated structure.

  • Publication number: 20250057589
Abstract: A catheter configured to deliver energy circumferentially around an anatomical lumen in which the catheter is positioned. The catheter includes an elongate structure configured to transform between a low-profile delivery state and a radially expanded deployed state. The elongate structure mechanically supports one or more electrodes configured to emit energy and includes an outer jacket comprising a polymer. The catheter defines a material boundary adjoining the outer jacket and at least one electrode to enable a mechanical adhesion between the polymer of the outer jacket and the electrode. In examples, the polymer intrudes into one or more volumes defined by asperities in a surface of the electrode to enable the mechanical adhesion. In examples, material boundary is formed by reflowing the polymer.

  • Publication number: 20240206966
Abstract: Various embodiments of catheters are disclosed. In one aspect, a catheter includes a catheter shaft actuator (e.g., a catheter handle) and a catheter shaft, where the working length of the catheter shaft is adjustable, and where this working length is defined between distal ends of the catheter shaft actuator and catheter shaft, respectively. In another aspect, a catheter includes a catheter handle and a shuttle to which a catheter shaft may be secured, with the shuttle being movable relative to at least a distal end of the catheter handle. In another aspect, a catheter includes a catheter shaft, a catheter shaft actuator that is movably mounted on the catheter shaft, and a housing, where the catheter shaft extends proximally to the housing, where a generator cable extends proximally from the housing, and where the catheter shaft actuator is disposable distally of the housing along the catheter shaft.

  • Publication number: 20210038863
Abstract: In some examples, a medical device includes an elongated body having an elongated body proximal end and a hub attached to the elongated body proximal end. The hub is configured to provide a removable attachment to an object, such as a surgical drape within a sterile field boundary. In some examples, the attachment mechanism comprises a resiliently biased first elongate arm and second elongate arm configured to establish a clamping action on the object and/or configured to establish a snap fit with each other while the objection is positioned between the first and second elongate arms. In some examples, the attachment mechanism may comprise a surface of the hub configured to provide a traction force on the object to hold the hub in place relative to the object.
